Okay, I give.   I am doing it.   I miss PPWM too much.

I want to babble.   I think you all want to babble.  So let’s babble here and then go back to PPWM when they finally get us fixed.   I know, it’s discouraging now, but I am too optimistic for my own good.   I do think iVillage will get this mess fixed.   One day.

For those not on FB, Shelly is monitoring Waylon, debating on a trip to Pitt.   He ran a fever all day yesterday and most of the night.   At her last check in, he’s down to 99.   She’s calling the coordinator this morning.

I had my work party last night.   I took a platter of Jalapeno Cheese Grits.   I have never had 6 people ask me for a recipe before.   I heard they were, “on point” and “ready.”  I love it when I bring the most popular dish.   There wasn’t a scrap left.

Off to get dressed for work.   As of 3:00 today I am done until January 2nd.   And then I can start counting down for my spring break beach trip.

I found this paper in Waylon's back pack. It must have been some sort of assignment. But I just teared up over it, wanted to share with you all.

"April 22, 2013~ Gene ~ General, Energetic, NOT ANNOING, Entertainful. ~ To whomever gets this letter, Hello, my name is Waylon! I like to roam around and speak in general. I am also a techno buff, which means I do good on electronic stuff.I'm also energetic. I may be all of these things, BUT I'm NOT ANNOING! My cheeks are puffy and my hair is blonde. I had a lower intestine transplant and you do not know what I've went through, also I know not alot about my past, it feels like I am 100 years old in memory. Sencerly, Waylon Gene Carter"

Sounds like everyone is off to a good start this morning.  Sandy, you're right, Brooks had this weird viral thing that would come and go.  100* fever one day, fine the next, throw up the next.  She finally beat it (fingers crossed).

Nice picture Shelly.

The new job seems to be going well for John.  He's driving and delivery stuff, learning his way around the shop, and even gets to mow the grass. :)  He really enjoys getting off work at 3:30.

I didn't want to get out of bed this morning.  I had the window open, there was a slight breeze and it was lightly raining.  It was very relaxing.

Good morning ladies!!!

Sunburnt and blisters all over my face. Uggggggg I was hoping by now it would have went away. But no such luck today.

My boys are getting so fed up with school.  J complains every morning of something hurting; ear, belly, head. . . and W does everything he can to drag his feet to try and miss the bus. They they are like this now, in K and 4th I don't know what I will do when they are teen agers!!!! I may be locked up in the nut house by then!!!!

Our weather today is supposed to be good until between 1-2 and then rain until 5-6.  Then back to being nice.  I *think* spring has finally sprung around here.

For those not on FB here is a pic of P and me taken on Sunday at the lake, we were just getting ready to go out on the boat for a quick ride before heading home.

Tracy ~ I sure hope D starts feeling better and I REALLY hope that you all get a free night, even if it is raining!!!! RA is on FIRE!!! Good for her!

I would be worried too if Sandy were telling me that there was a BIG announcement coming!!  Wonder if someone is gonna get married? Or another baby? Hummmmmmmmm

Susan, so glad John got the new job!

Missy ~ Glad Ray got a new office and out of your "hair" LOL

Mel ~ Hope you all can agree on a name quickly, I think that is one of the hardest parts of being pregnant! Uggggg

Gus ~ Hope G is feeling better and those teeth come through and stop giving him trouble. How does Evey like being a big sister? They are so cute together!

Sandy ~ How is your John doing? Is he happy to have tax season behind him???

Well, I need to head to the shower and get my day started!!! Have a great day everyone!

Yeah, I'd be freaking out too if Sandy told me she had something for me.

Guss, glad G's tooth pain may be winding down.   I know you need some sleep.   Another deployment in October.   I'm glad he talked to you about it.   Will you get to stay in CO if he takes that assignment?

I hear you on school, Susan.   This year has flown by.   Out last day is May 24th, one month from today.   I see that light.

Two months from today Jeff and I leave for Key West.   I can't wait.

Softball went really well last night.    Her dad didn't make it to the game.   He actually has a valid excuse this time.   DS got home from school and threw up.   He was asleep on the couch by 7:00.   I don't know what his deal is lately, but he's just not staying well.  Up to last week when he missed 2 days of school for running a fever, he had only missed 1.5 days of school all year.   His dad is staying home with him today.   I have to teach a training class this morning so I couldn't have stayed home with him.

DD's team won again.   Her OBP (On Base Percentage) is on fire right now.   .846 in her last 5 games.    She is just getting on base; hits, walks, hit by a pitch, error, etc.   She's 11 of 13 in her last 13 at bats.   Last night she got walked, hit a smash to the fence that got her easily to second and knocked in 2 runs, and then she got a single.   And she's catching really well.

I love wathing her play.   But these out until 10:00 on a school night nights are on my nerves.   I am praying DS's game is rained out tonight.   He may not play anyway since he's sick.  It's probably going to be a rain out though.   DD's team has been playing so well lately her coach gave them the night off tonight.   The day after we got home from Florida was the last time she went a day without playing softball.  She's excited to have the night off.   I am excited to actually have a night at home.   I get to cook and hang out with my kids.   Can't wait.   Pour, rain, pour.

Morning Ladies-

Renee wish I could get it narrowed done for you but I have no idea what it is.  All I know is everytime you make announcement I get "that's not it".  It is getting stronger and loader so I am thinking someone will be telling you something "Big" soon.  Whatever "Big" means - lol!

I was wondering about Miss Daisy also.  She popped in for a couple of seconds and then poof - right into thin air.

Mel you said you had not picked out any girls names but you liked Viola - well there is at least one consideration  I would start thinking of a few more.  Oh and don't toss out the boys name list just yet.

Mel - men just don't understand sometimes!  And to make a poor girl worry all night...

Shelly - that's exciting.  I am so very happy for you.

Gus - I get G's pain.  My tooth has been bothering me and it has woke me up in the middle of the night throbbing.  We go to the dentist at the end of May.  It isn't only hot or cold foods and it doesn't happen all the time, so I started using sensitive toothpaste to see if that would help.  It seems to a little bit.  It's only on one side of my mouth, so I'm not really sure if it's sensitivity or not.

Hard to believe we have 1 month of school left.  This year is zooming by!

John's first day went well.  He got about 20 minutes of over to mow part of the grass.  He thought we could handle that.  He was home before me and still got a full days work in.  I think he'll like it just fine! :)

Mel, men don't listen to detail. Can't wait to hear if it's pink or blue! So exciting!

Sandy, all the heavy furniture is moved and he is taking computers, printers etc.... little by little. He was there yesterday and they haven't connected him to the internet yet. Then he locked himself out of the office with his phone, keys and lunch on the inside. Not a good first day. Oh, and I want to say I'm so glad you don't get vibes from me. I would be on pins and needles if I was Renee.

Tracy, RA's playing is impressive. No wonder she made both teams and had to make a choice. And Daniel sounds like Kelsie in soccer. Some days she amazes us and other days she acts like she never played. That's right, that's what you get at 11.

Shelly, that is BIG news! Glad he's making you so happy!

Guss, I hope last night was better.

Susan, how was John's first day?

Well, back to yard sale hell.....

Good morning ladiesJ

Tracy it sounds like your daughter is going to be a softball superstar!!! Sorry your DS had an off night, but we all have them.

Sandy are you feeling any better?

Mel glad you figured out what was going on, men indeed!

Well I got some sleep last night, Garrett woke up some but I just gave him his binky back and he went back to sleep. I can see the teeth trying to poke thru, just hasn’t happened yet, hopefully we are on the downward spiral. It has just been one thing after another with him lately though, ear infections, colds, teeth, etc. So yeah its tiring. He did learn to crawl though. There goes my nice peaceful life LOL.

So David got a call from a Lt. from another unit here, he is putting together a platoon to run a special forces support mission and asked David if he would volunteer. They deploy in Oct. for like 6 months, but it could be 9, so we talked about and David decided to volunteer. So they are going to work on the transfer and if it goes thru David will leave again in Oct. Fun times, it never ends. I am think about taking classes online this fall too though so yeahJ

It is snowing here today so I don’t think we will be going anywhere or doing anything…
