Okay, I give. I am doing it. I miss PPWM too much.
I want to babble. I think you all want to babble. So let’s babble here and then go back to PPWM when they finally get us fixed. I know, it’s discouraging now, but I am too optimistic for my own good. I do think iVillage will get this mess fixed. One day.
For those not on FB, Shelly is monitoring Waylon, debating on a trip to Pitt. He ran a fever all day yesterday and most of the night. At her last check in, he’s down to 99. She’s calling the coordinator this morning.
I had my work party last night. I took a platter of Jalapeno Cheese Grits. I have never had 6 people ask me for a recipe before. I heard they were, “on point” and “ready.” I love it when I bring the most popular dish. There wasn’t a scrap left.
Off to get dressed for work. As of 3:00 today I am done until January 2nd. And then I can start counting down for my spring break beach trip.

Wow Renee, they really favor each other. And next weekend, I'll probably start the kitchen. :)
I'm half way through room 6 (of 7). The bathroom is where I stop today. The ktichen will be a 2 day job in itself. I will take the carpet cleaner back this evening (it's my mom's and quite possibly the best thing I've ever borrowed! lol) I'm ready to get my house back in order!

Today is grocery shopping and buying after Easter stuff.. Tomorrow we are celebrating =).
And it is suppose to be a gorgeous day - We are having a egg hunt, wheel barrow races, a spoon/egg contest, gonna make them industrial strength bubbles, and fly a kite that is bigger then me if its windy.
Making pulled pork, pasta salad, maybe coleslaw, and whatever else I see at the store..

5 of the 7 rooms are done. I saved the bathroom and kitchen for last. I have all the bed sheets washed too. Tomorrow DH and I are going to pull out all the screens and wash them and also the window sills. Tomorrow I will get the bathroom done. Shouldn't take too long the room is roughly 10x6. Natalie's carpet isn't drying as fast as I would like. I guess we'll just get her bed in there tonight and move the rest in the morning. We also need to get the livingroom furniture back in place. I showered after I was done and now we're waiting on DH to get home with pizza. We'll be having supper about 8pm tonight! I think Brooklyn's on the mend. She has been active all day and hasn't had a temp over 99.5. I'll take it!
DH called into work today to talk to the boss. They are still waiting on the background check to pan out. Apparently those take a few days, but he said go ahead and give your notice and we'll see you in 2 weeks, if not sooner (if the current boss doesn't take it so well). DH is supposed to get paid on Thursdays, when he left the shop tonight there was no check to be seen. I bet she'll call tonight and say it's done...she pulled that crap last week. BUT we won't have to deal with that soon! :)

Sandy, enjoy your Zumbathong! I've done enough squats, stretches, up and down the ladders, that I don't need to exercise!!! Or that's my excuse anyway! lol
My SIL has ran 2 5K's this year. She agreed to do our local festival one in June. She's all for it. Now I have a date set! I need to train!
We are having a building wide cook-out/pot-luck today for lunch celebrating the first home game of the Detroit Tigers! Everyone got to wear their Tiger gear and jeans (if you pay $5 which goes to our pediatric oncology department) and" the mgmt" (not sure who in particular) are providing KOEGEL Vienna hot dogs and bratwurst! This smaller building we are now in is only 6 floors with only 1.5 wings, (like an L shape) compared to 11 floors of the hospital with 4 wings (like an X shape).
It's the first time they are doing this... they planned on everyone else bringing a passing dish (salad, casserole, etc.), drinks or dessert. My supervisor decided not to participate... weird.... and we only have 4 people here today (some are off today, others are on vacation) but Linda brought a pasta salad, Maria brought six 2-liter's and I brought my jambalya... a big crock-pot full. It was keeping warm in my crockpot all morning it made my office smell sooo good!!
Not to mention the fact that they were doing the grilling right outside my windows.... someone hitched their big drum grill thing the back of a truck and is going to town! Smelled that awesome scent since about 10:00 am!
My plate of food.... i was HUNGRY.... and a lot of it is still sitting here... my eyes were bigger than my stomach!
Dessert is still untouched too.... but later on I guess I will just HAVE to scarf it down!
It's not raining but it is overcast and gloomy. The sun is trying to come out. According to the local news we should have sun by 3:00. Better than no sun. We are slowly packing so we can get out in it when the sun comes back.

Tracy did it stop raining???? I hear you on missing Jeff and can't wait to get back home. When I went to Florida with my cousins in October by day 3 I was ready to pack it up. Do not get me wrong, we had fun, but I missed John and truth be known I really enjoy out trips together more than trips with "just the girls".
Sandy, that is a hot mama picture there. You don't look a day over 25 in it.
Guss, you just can't catch a break with the kids, can you? I hope the sunshine cheers you up. I know it would for me.

DD and I went for a 2-hour walk. DS went to play putt-putt golf with the family next door. Lunch time and I guess we start packing. :-(
Yes, Guss, I adore the beach but I love home too. I miss my bed, my cats, and I guess Jeff a little more than a little bit. Our Key West countdown starts soon. We're going in June.
Hi ladies! I'm here and not disappearing......the girls had different spring breaks and they have kept me on the go..........I'll be back next week when they are both back at school.
Sandy, congrats on the semi retirement! 3 days a week is not bad!
