Q&E Babble

Okay, I give.   I am doing it.   I miss PPWM too much.

I want to babble.   I think you all want to babble.  So let’s babble here and then go back to PPWM when they finally get us fixed.   I know, it’s discouraging now, but I am too optimistic for my own good.   I do think iVillage will get this mess fixed.   One day.

For those not on FB, Shelly is monitoring Waylon, debating on a trip to Pitt.   He ran a fever all day yesterday and most of the night.   At her last check in, he’s down to 99.   She’s calling the coordinator this morning.

I had my work party last night.   I took a platter of Jalapeno Cheese Grits.   I have never had 6 people ask me for a recipe before.   I heard they were, “on point” and “ready.”  I love it when I bring the most popular dish.   There wasn’t a scrap left.

Off to get dressed for work.   As of 3:00 today I am done until January 2nd.   And then I can start counting down for my spring break beach trip.

J will be delivery and warehouse.  They actually approached him, well me first to see if it would bother me or be weird.  We'll barely see each other.  He said he would come up and sneek a kiss when he could!  There's a slight pay cut, BUT he will have overtime, normal hours, some Saturdays.  I know he'll miss his old boss, but none of the sh*t that goes on there. We're just waiting on the drug test and background check before he tells his current boss.

Good Morning ladies:-)

Tracy your beach views look great!Hope you find some beach shops somewhere without the traffic.

Mel when do you find out if it is a boy or a girl??

Susan what is your husband going to be doing?

Gaye sorry about Roo Ben:-(

My baby boy is being fussy, decided to wake up at 5:30, and now whats to fuss at ME like its my fault! Ugh. Evey has another staph on her girls parts, she broke out in pimples again last week and I told David we had to watch one of them because it was big and where it was and sure enough, staph. I asked the doctor about the break outs and he had NO advice to avoid them or what could be causing them...I was like dude you are worthless.... LOL.

David has been sick but I think he felt better this morning. He leaves on Sunday for 2 months for some school...So far no new orders, his online thing says he can't get orders becase he is in a "fenced" unit whatever that means. He heard all EOD units are like that, but he is worried that he is fenced because they moved the deployment up from July to March and then he will end up deploying with them again....that would be 3 deployments in 6 years....

Today I need to get some housework done, laundry and cleaning, the bunny brought the kids toys so we need to get things straightened out. The baby is close to crawling so I also need to go thru and get rid of the risks in my house. Evey was never a hellion and I think he is going to be, he is already rolling his happy self around the living room so he can get to the cords...he is all go all the time.

Alrighty I must go pack Davd's lunch.

Have a good day girls:-)

Oh - Tracy how long would it take you to get to Naples?  It is a fancy town BUT they have this place called Tin City.  It has shops, is on the water and great crab/seafood restaurant.

Tracy is the traffic from the Snowbirds still there, spring break folks, increased population in the area or all three?

I don't see us making it to Sanibel.   To get there you have to go north.   Traffic to the north is insane.  The local man living here in this unit along with the semi-permanent resident snowbirders told us to avoid a left turn out of here at all costs.  We ignored that Monday night for supper.   It took us 45 minutes to drive 2.7 miles.  Sanibel is about 15 miles.   No way!

I am in a bad place on that though.   DD is obsessed with the junky beach shops.  She loves them and it's about her favorite thing while on beach vacation.   They are all to the north.   I have totally scoured the Internet to find one in the town to the south.   They only have high end boutiques.  I am going to have to venture into that gridlock again.   I loathe traffic.

Shelly, that stinks about the t-ball.   What do you think happened?   Does he have a friend playing?

I hate this laptop view.   I can't see the post I am responding to and I have nothing here to take notes on so I forgot what I wanted to say.   Since I read both the kids got up so I went to talk to them.  DD thinks she is peeing and going back to bed.   That sun is beating down now.   No way.   We are beach bound.

I am sunburned so maybe I won't push us out too fast.   I wish the sun liked my skin as much as I like sitting out in it and feeling the heat on me.   I even had on Water Babies yesterday.

Morning Ladies-

Gaye I did notice Cara used "those two words" in the same post.  Just was waiting to see if anyone else would take her bait and you did!  Good Girl!

Shelly I am sorry but I had to laugh when you said Jeffery wouldn't get out of the car at T-Ball.  I am sure he isn't the only kid who pulled that one.  Do you think he was just being stubborn or perhaps nervous?  How did you make out in Pitt with Waylon?  Did you get to see Dr. Larry?  One more day for you and then you can get your head back.

Mel - how is the morning sickness?  When is it you find out pink or blue?

Daisy how is your Mom?  Still rooting for Michigan to take the big dance?

Renee - ummm - any "news" from any of your girls?  Don't ask me what kind of news - I have no idea just there is going to be some kind of an announcement coming from one of them soon.

Guss how is everything in your household?  David being good?  Babies feeling ok?  You getting some "Me" time?

Missy - where are you?

Cara I think you should go straighten out that bush!

Susan when does John start his new job at your place?  What prompted him to apply?  Better job?  More money? Better benefits like an afternoon delight perhaps?

Tracy what is on the agenda for today?  Have gone to Sanibel Island yet?

My head is sore and itchy!!! I can't wait to get the stitches and the drain tube out. i HOPE it all comes out Thursday.

It is Spring Break this week for the boys, but I still need to take Waylon to the library Thursday and Friday and meet his teacher to have some school. No plans this week for us.

Well, the "bad" news is that Jeffrey went to tee ball practice tonight and wouldn't get out of the car. . . . when he finally got out, he decided he didn't want to play, so no amount of talking to him would get him toplay, so we came home.

There was more I wanted to say, but lost my train of thought! Grrrrrrrrrrrrr

Cara said "erect" and "bush" in the same post.  How did you all miss that?

Thank you all for asking about Roo Ben.  I don't know anything yet.  RooBen has to be weaned off his steroids  before they can assess him.  That may take a few days.  And when one fosters for a rescue, the rescue owns the dog, and we have a "gatekeeper," so to speak, that communicates with the clinic.  Because we get a reduced rate, the clinics want to talk to only one person; they don't want umpteen fosters and potential adopters calling the clinic for information.  You can understand that.  So I get my information through Sue, who also has a day job.

I can't take a foster to a clinic without getting permission from Sue, either.   There are alternate contacts in the case of an emergency if Sue can't be reached.

Cara said erect?????  NO!  WOW!  Who would of thought!

Beach view is lovely Tracy.  We have blue sky, sunshine and temps in the upper 30's with a windchill putting us into the teens.  Oh yes it is just lovely here too!  I am so sick of winter coats, boats, gloves, etc.  I want my capri pants, flowing tops and I want them NOW!!!!

Ok - now I feel a bit better - so Shelly how is your head?
