Q&E Babble

Okay, I give.   I am doing it.   I miss PPWM too much.

I want to babble.   I think you all want to babble.  So let’s babble here and then go back to PPWM when they finally get us fixed.   I know, it’s discouraging now, but I am too optimistic for my own good.   I do think iVillage will get this mess fixed.   One day.

For those not on FB, Shelly is monitoring Waylon, debating on a trip to Pitt.   He ran a fever all day yesterday and most of the night.   At her last check in, he’s down to 99.   She’s calling the coordinator this morning.

I had my work party last night.   I took a platter of Jalapeno Cheese Grits.   I have never had 6 people ask me for a recipe before.   I heard they were, “on point” and “ready.”  I love it when I bring the most popular dish.   There wasn’t a scrap left.

Off to get dressed for work.   As of 3:00 today I am done until January 2nd.   And then I can start counting down for my spring break beach trip.

LaughingMorning Ladies -

Renee yes John is working on the weekends and no our taxes are not done yet.  I am glad Molly took your advise and got some help for Kynsie.  You are right when you say it can be hard to think there might be something wrong with your child.

Hey Tracy are you packed yet?

Hey Guss have you packed up David yet?  Just kidding-lol!

Mel when do you find out if it is pink or blue or are you not going to ask?

Ahh Gaye =)...

Shelly what a mess you are going through with Waylon- the girls have all said some very good advice. One thing they didn't mention.. When I am not sure what to do and have tried all my options I tell God I just cant do it anymore- you take it from here =).. Looking back on Miss Maggie that is pretty much what i did- And am happy to say it worked. Just a thought...

Tracy no fun on sitting outside...

Missy did Kelsie get a grade on Jupiter yet?

Susan having a quiet week-end?

Sandy just curious are your taxes done? Is he been working week-ends?

Gus sorry you have had some rocky days- When Molly and Maggie were little- (they are 13 months apart) I started giving them 'rinse downs' in the tub.. run the water, pour it over their heads, shampoo, soap em up, rinse conditioner, soap em up rinse. get out. Much quicker then a bath =).. I did everything so anything to speed up my evening... Funny the other day Casey called me and said Amyah just told her she was gonna get a rinse down =)..

Mel when do we all find out if its pink or blue?

Well I still don't care for March- My Mom and Dad both died in March- and Wednesday I found out an Aunt on my Moms side died.. Born and raised in NY the funeral was there.. they had 22 inches of snow this past week so no we didn't go. Lost track of my Moms family but have found some cousins and we are now friends through facebook-

On a better note John and I will be celebrating 27 years of marriage this coming week=).. A customer gave us a gift card for Lonestar so we will go there ! He wants to go to a race in Indiana next Sat night so hopefully it won't be freezing !

Amyah got student of the month and Kynsie got kicked outa school for the second time .. Complete BS- so Molly pulled her outa that school and she started a different one Friday and she went to the Dr and is going to get some kind of medicine for her .. I have known for a long time and tried to get her to go to a Dr but no one wants to admit their child has a problem- she is just very hyper and probably just needs a small dose to get her in control so she can focus and learn.

I read but just havent had a whole lot of time to reply- I worked today and tonight am doing NOTHING! My day starts around 3:15 and Dominic is here 2-3 nights a week till 11, glad John takes over at 9 ! Though he usually goes to sleep around 8 and sleeps till she gets here.

Everyone enjoy your Sat night !

I will be 66 on Monday.  I'm now 2 years older than ^DH^, who is 64 forever.

I am here.  Just got her but I'm here.  I slept in this morning then had to rush around to get ready to pick up my Dad.  I took him out for a late breakfast, made a few stops with him and then dropped him off back home.  Went and got my eyebrows shaped and did some shopping (not groceries).  Came home, took the dog out, put away some stuff, tossed in a load of laundry, checked my emails etc. and now I need to think about what to make for dinner.

I hate when I see a typo and I'm on my phone where I can't fix it. I do know how to spell slowly. Where is everyone?

Okay, that PT is tough, Guss.   I get up at 4:20 to do it, then work all day.   I then run a house by myself, with 2 kids.  And I am over 40 and fat.   If I can do this, a young in-shape man sure can do it.  But then again, I am a woman and that makes all the difference :-)   I will say, am exhausted by 9:00.

Off to go clean out the concession stand.   Fun times.   I got the grocery shopping done last night and the beer cheese made.   The list is slowluy getting ticked off.   I can do this.

Aww Gaye, your dh was so young. My dad was the same way. when we were growing up. My mom did all the housework and dealt with us kids. My dad just has no clue. He can cook though.

Okay so I forgot to clarify David has PT from 6:30 to 7:45 am, so working from 9-5 or 6 is normal but add in the 6:30 work call and it turns into a long day...either way my day starts that early too so his a$$ can help... I saw your announcement on Facebook Mel:-) It was funny... Went to Evey's little Easter thing today, it was super cute....now I need to find some lunch...and I want a nap...sleepy sleepy...oh well

My ^DH^ was a bump on a log, too.  It was a generational thing.  He would be 75 if he were alive today.

When he insisted that I go back to work, he promised to "help me in every way possible."  Except he had no clue.  He did three things: he unloaded the dishwasher, set the table, and took out the trash.

Cara - that is sad.  Poor girl.

Gus - I was thinking the same thing as Tracy.  That's a normal day.  I work all day and get home at 5 and then still have the supper, homework, shower thing with the girls...every day.  Sometimes DH is there and helps and sometimes he works until 7-8.  He is a lot better helping out.  He used to be a bump on the couch too. H has learned to translate that my loud sigh from the kitchen when he's on the couch means "get your lazy a$$ up and help".
