Okay, I give.   I am doing it.   I miss PPWM too much.

I want to babble.   I think you all want to babble.  So let’s babble here and then go back to PPWM when they finally get us fixed.   I know, it’s discouraging now, but I am too optimistic for my own good.   I do think iVillage will get this mess fixed.   One day.

For those not on FB, Shelly is monitoring Waylon, debating on a trip to Pitt.   He ran a fever all day yesterday and most of the night.   At her last check in, he’s down to 99.   She’s calling the coordinator this morning.

I had my work party last night.   I took a platter of Jalapeno Cheese Grits.   I have never had 6 people ask me for a recipe before.   I heard they were, “on point” and “ready.”  I love it when I bring the most popular dish.   There wasn’t a scrap left.

Off to get dressed for work.   As of 3:00 today I am done until January 2nd.   And then I can start counting down for my spring break beach trip.

Good morning ladies.

Oh Tracy.  *gag*  We were at a friends hosue over the weekend and John used a back bathroom that he's pretty sure had not been cleaned since they lived there (3 years).  He peed outside the rest of the night!

I was over on my calorie count Thurs, Fri, and Sat.  Yesterday I did good and exercised double.  Paid off this morning.  I lost 1.5 lbs since last week.  5.5 lbs total so far!  Waiting on one more weigh-in to see what this week's totals are.

Morning Ladies -

One good thing about being in "lock-down" was my house sure got a good cleaning.  Between cleaning the house and shoveling snow I didn't miss my exercise classes that's for sure!  Guess I need to venture out to the office today.  We have a stupid rule - use your own discretion on driving into the office in bad weather or on leaving early. If you stay home you use a vacation day or don't get paid.  Oh and if you stay home and the big guys show up and see you aren't there you get the lecture.  We have an office full of ladies.  The two owners are men and you know they wouldn't let their wives or daughters drive in the nasty weather but expect all of us to show up.  IDIOTS!  We had a rule that said if the Governor told all non-essential employees to stay home we stayed home.  Well that got changed after a recent storm we had when the state closed but the roads were not bad.  Big guys were ticked when more than half the office didn't show up.  Any one who didn't show got a talking to when they did come in the next day.  I was smart I went into the office late and left early.  I was a shining star that day - rofl!  It's a bit of a mix or rain and crap turing over to just plain rain which means lots of water on the roads.  I the roads flood over I may not make it in or out.  Sigh!

Tracy I could not live on carrot and celery sticks either thus the reason I try to exercise.  I love food and I love to eat!  Hope your DD makes the team and I would let her stay home on Friday if she doesn't.  If she should not make it this year there is always next year.  Just like Hank in the Budweiser commercial.  Remember that one?  It's the one where Hank doesn't make the team and is told maybe next year - the dog takes him under his wing and gets him in shape so next year rolls around and low and behold Hank makes the team - then the dog and the horse "high-five".  I love that commercial!

I'm telling you, if nothing else, helping my friend out has for sure inspired me to deep clean my own house. Next weekend I think all the cabinets and the fridge are being attacked. I bet your kitchen smells good, Renee.

I have got to get my fat butt in gear. I feel myself slipping on my healthier eating plan. I am not going to beat myself up over it. Food is important to me and I really enjoy it. Subsiding on carrots and celery just isn't for me. But I am going to be back at it today. I have already worked out this morning. When I was doing the arm exercises my arms and shoulders were screaming at me. I was sure feeling all that scrubbing I was doing all weekend.

Big week here for us. DD has high school softball tryouts on Thursday. She has worked her butt off since October to make this team. It all comes down to that tryout. She is the youngest one trying out. But, if they are looking for a great attitude, a hard worker, with dedication and no drama, that's my girl. She can also play the game too. She asked me if she could stay home from school on Friday if she didn't make the team because she wouldn't be able to stop crying. How sad is that? And then this Saturday we have baseball tryouts for DS. He trys out to be on a team in a more competative division. We keep hearing he's a lock, but you never know. If they both make these teams, I am done. DD will have Sundays off, but he won't. We will have baseball or softball 7 days a week. And that will be from next week until about August for him and September for her. She is year round, 6 days a week from this point on. I think there may be a week or two off in the fall and then 2 weeks at Christmas. But that's all.

Oops, it's time to go get DS up.

The new definition of insanity: Clicking "keep me logged in" every time you log in to iVillage, knowing that you are going to have to log in again the next time you visit the site.

I did wear rubber gloves to clean that cest pool of a house. And I wore old gross clothes. And a hat to cover my hair. We discussed masks but neither of us had one.

I have cleaned and cleaned and cleaned all weekend. I need a break from the weekend. I came home from the sty and finsihed laundry, vacuumed, mopped (DD did that part), and then I took all the globes down from my ceiling fans and washed them. I washed the fan blades and bases. I washed baseboards and door trim. I washed doors. I washed walls. And then I went and got a pedicure because I was bone tired and deserved it.

After that I made the pork roast, cleaned the kitchen and now I'm here. Getting ready to pop popcorn and flop out on the couch with the kids. I see a night of Honey Boo Boo and Gyspy Sisters in our furture. Shelly, you near any of these WV gypsy towns? I l know where Martinsburg is so not really on that one, but what about Ripley or Princeton?

Oh Tracy, I would have needed a mask and gloves up to my shoulders. I'm gagging just looking at the pictures. I don't know how you did it. I'm guessing he didn't have a girlfriend. Ugghhhh

Sandy, I'm glad you got to dig yourself out some. Will you be able to go to work or do you get a day off?

Guss, sorry David is aggravating you so bad. Men have a way of doing that sometimes.

Tracy I hope you were wearing rubber gloves and had shoe covers on!  BELCH!!!!

I actually do not mind shoveling snow either.  Today the sun is out and it is in the mid 30's.  I took my jacket off because I got so hot shoveling.  John's shoulder is still not 100% and he was told no lifting. He pushed the snow off the roof over the front porch and then I cleaned up all the snow from it .  There was a LOT!  John was able to push the snow off most of the back deck so we are pretty well set.  We can get out now BUT there is no palce to really go.  Everything is pretty much shut down.  A lot of the side roads you still can't drive on without getting stuck.  I am guessing today will be a good clean-up day and tomorrow things shouldn't be too bad. EXCEPT - a wintery mix is headed our way for the AM turning over to all rain - YIKES!  We will need an Ark to get any where if that happens!

Sandy, I think I have probably mentioned this here before, but I have never minded shoveling snow. I actually kind of like it. If I were in your complex I'd come over and take care of your deck.

Guss, when is the Germany deadline?   I mean the date you will know if you all are going or not.  So much stress there.   I hope the PMS stops soon.

I am so happy everyone is coming around a lot again.   I love it.

I went over and helped my friend for another 2 hours this morning. She was bragging on how much better it smelled today. Um.... in what universe? It still makes me want to puke. I have no idea what she is thinking unless it's just no choice but to be super optimistic. She started the bathroom today while I scrubbed light fixtures, ceiling fan blades, and the kitchen cabinets. They are encased in so much nicotine. Even after scrubbing with hot bleach water I could run a paper towel over the cabinet doors and they were yellow.

Good Morning Ladies:-) Tracy you are a true friend! That house looks like a hot mess.... Sandy hope you can get out of the house soon, I would go stir crazy being snowed in.... Susan I hope Brooks had a good birthday! Way to go Maggie! I bet she is excited to have a car again! I have church this morning and then David is going to ruck with a friend. He is going to try to make the try outs for the 21st WMD unit in NM so hopefully they will let him cancel his ALC if necessary and let him go. Prayers please!!! Omg, my husband is really getting on my nerves, I am totally PMSing still(thank you IUD) and he acts like a total tool....I need a physical for the EFMP screen for Germany, but tomorrow I have to take Evey to the orthopedist for a follow up about her neck, and he is trying to tell me he can take her instead so I can go get a physical, UMMMM no he doesn't even know what the heck is going on...so how could he take her? And tell the doctor what? I don't really know what is going on? Ugh, Evey's won't even be done and filled out until probably Friday, so its not like I am behind the curve or anything... Alright I am going to go shower and calm my hormones.
