I have a scar on my shin, I got out of our car and went running around to the other side and hit the trailer hitch on the back end of the car. I went down hard and fast with that one. It wasn't a lot of blood, but it went to the bone. No stiches, no insurance when I was younger. My dad wouldn't work and keep it on us, so I have more scars then I should since I never went to the ER for stiches.
I also have one on my thumb and the fleshy part of my palm right next to where the thumb is attached. My cousins and I were playing in the back of their dad's old CJ Jeep (you know, pretending we were teenagers out driving around LOL) and I went to get out the back end and it was rusted and I sliced my thumb open, My aunt cleaned it up and put some gauze on it and I was out running around. Again, needed stiches, but didn't get them.
Thanks Daisy - I just count on Q&E being a happy place - and political discussions get in my head and I get pissed off and judgmental. Already the technical issues piss me off, so I really don't want any additional aggravation from iVillage!
Tracy, my Ashleigh had the same thing happen ....she pushed against the glass while that stupid kid from down the street was holding it closed.... boom, her arm went right through.
When I was 6 years old I thought the glass storm door wasn't latched, but it was. I thought I could open the door by placing my hand on the glass and pushing. It didn't go well for me. My hand went through the glass. I got stiches down my right wrist and it looks like I tried to kill myself by slitting my wrist. People that know how terrified I am of blades would laugh at that. But I am very sensitive about it.
I guess my worse scar that someone could see without me being undressed is my chin. As a child (3rd or 4th grade) I was a hoola hoop queen and I was "jumping rope" with it and somehow ended up falling face down on concrete hitting my chin. Had over 20 sutures in it but it is kind of hidden unless I point it out.
Next would be the scars I have from having my port placed for chemotherapy. They are on my chest and sometimes if I have a lower cut shirt on you can see them.

My parents had two plexi-glass storm doors installed right after that.
I have a scar below my bottom lip. I was 5 and running full speed down a hill right into a barbed wire fence. You can see where the stitches were.

The only scar I can think of is one on my boob. I had a chicken pox that wouldn't. stop. itching! lol Scratched and picked and it scarred.
I changed the question.... sorry gals... i did not mean to upset anyone.
Oh, Daisy. I wish you hadn't asked that. I wont be opening this thread again. Glad I am first!
Wish we had a "hide this post" option......
