Other than onion, I am not spice particular. I can never taste an isolated flavor of something that ruined the dish for me (other than too much onion). I like curry, which I know a lot of people avoid.
I tend to cook with a lot of fresh garlic, paprika, thyme, and seasoning blends like Mrs. Dash, Emerils Essence, etc.
Well let me see now - somethings I use often for seasoning food would be basil, rosemary, thyme, oregano, cilantro, garlic, onion powder or minced onions, cumin, curry, chili powder, black pepper, red pepper flakes. For blends it would just be bemon/black pepper and an Italian seasoning blend.
Which ones are your favorite? Onion powder, garlic powder & cayenne pepper
Which ones do you avoid? Ginger and Clove I do, however, use whole cloves in the potpourri I make to simmer on the stove. I like the smell of clove but not the taste.
I am not a fan of cilantro which I see in your picture but but I consider that an herb ... did you mean to include herbs? If so, cilantro is definitely in my AVOID list!
