Yes I have cookie cutters... and a cookie press that I inherited from my mom.
They look like this...
And the cookie press looks like this:
I do not remember the last time i used either one... I am horrible about making these types of cookies. I am not a baker and if I do decide to bake cookies, I will either make cookies like chocolate chip or oatmeal raisin where you do not have to use a cutter or a press OR I will make bar type cookies.
A few years ago, I found some frozen cookies at Gordon's that were already cut out (snowmen, Christmas trees, Christmas bells, etc.) and all you had to do was bake them in the oven then decorate. They tasted real good and I was not disappointed in them. So, if I ever do want to decorate cookies with Luke and Presley, I will probably go that route. And the cookie press & cutters will still be in the back of one of my cupboards.
I don't have cookie cutters, probably because I rarely make cookies. I enjoy making them, but everyone I know (myself included) is working hard to eat healthier so cookies are kind of counterproductive.
Only cookie cutter I currently have is a dog bone I used when I made dog biscuts.
I am not a big "baker" and like Daisy when I do make cookies which is very rare I usually make the batter ones you just drop globs of onto a cookie sheet.
I can't rave enough about the White Chocolate Cherry Shortbreads I made this weekend. No cutting, no pressing, etc. Well, you do press them with a glass. But they were easy and taste great.
300 cookiecutters, I have everything from submarines to kangaroos. I also have naughty, christmassy, valentines ones.. I even have a carrot and broccoli.
Yes it does, trust me it does. I just made a box with naughty ones for a friend, inluding a "motivator", a few "swimmers" and the "canon" they come out of.. Yeah..
Use your dirty mind for this.
I also made skulls and gitarrs for two friends of mines.
