QOTD for MONDAY

The talk about tuna fish last week put me in the mood for some. So I had some for lunch yesterday.
Do you like tuna fish? Which variety to you buy? How do you prepare it?

I have always liked tuna fish sandwiches or tuna on crackers.
I get the solid white packed in water. I goofed once and got some packed in oil. I don't like that at all.
I usually make my tuna with mayonnaise only. I may put one dash of dillweed on it too. I also like celery diced in there for a crunch.
Tuna is one of the few sandwiches that I really, really prefer on white bread. I don't go out of my way to make sure I have white here when I eat it, but if there is white bread in the house and I am making tuna, that's what I eat. Super soft fresh white with tuna.....mmmmm. I also like tuna on rye though.
I like tuna right after I mix it. Otherwise I think it gets too mushy or something so I will never go back and eat anything I have leftover.
I love tuna salad either on bread, crackers or on top of shredded lettuce with a tomato. I also love it on top of a ring of pineapple. I had it for lunch one day served on top of a slice of fresh pineapple when I was on vacation in Mexico (Acapulco). It was many, many, many a year ago and I have been hooked on tuna with pineapple since then.
I only get the solid white in water like you Tracy. I find the one packed in oil too - well oily - lol. I mix with mayo and sometimes add dill, sometimes celery but that is about it. As far as the bread goes it does not really matter but I do like the sandwhich thins that are out there. I know we have talked about them before. I try to always have a package of them in the fridge -
I like tuna in tuna noodle casserole and I like mayo. I need to make some just to try it. I do like egg salad and it can’t be much different, can it?

Yes, I do like tuna salad. I buy it water packed as well. I usually just add some miracle whip and if I have the stuff, I will put some onion in it. I like it on white bread with a slice of cheese.
When I was younger my mom would mix tuna and cream of mushroom soup with some onion, put it on bread and put it in the toaster oven. It was sooooo yummy. I still make it sometimes.
I love tuna!!!!! I love tuna, tomato, and onion sandwiches, or putting it in a salad... or a grilled cheese sandwich with tuna and a bit of bbq sauce! My Mum better bring me some bbq sauce when she comes over! LOL
I buy the water packed kind... or sometimes tomato and onion flavoured tuna.

I like tuna every once in awhile, and like most everybody else, I buy it packed in water - albacore - and mix it with mayo only. Tristan and I are the only ones who will eat it here. My husband DESPISES it - he cannot stand the smell. Tuna and hot dogs are about the only things I can think of that he won't eat. He will cook hot dogs for the boys, but will not go near tuna. We have a little orange Tupperware bowl that I always use for tuna, and nothing else. He knows not to open that bowl!

Only by accident and it usually only takes once...
