I like Ranch, but really more as a dip for veggies (or cheesy bread!), and I don't really like the bottled stuff, either. When we have salads we dress it with one of the flavored olive oil/balsamic vinegars we have. I really like the Blood Orange Olive Oil with white balsamic best.
We discovered our olive oil company when we went to Sonoma a couple years ago. Figone's. We joined their mail order club, so we get a bottle of balsamic and a bottle of olive oil in the mail four times a year.
I like Ranch, I know its bad for me, but the FF one's taste nasty. Had a salad yesterday and it had a ginger dressing on it that was really good. I like Italian dressings as well. I have a recipe fora really good one I need to look into making.
Very rarely do I purchase ready made bottled dressing. I have a stash of different vinegars and oils and mix up my own dressings depending upon what type of salad I make.
The vinegarettes/Italian type of dressings are my favorites. I like any of those. Love Balsamic vinegar ones too. I do like Ranch but avoid it for the fat and calories. I can't tell a difference in a fat-free Italian. That also helps.

I love caesar and honey dijon mustard!
