I know I am not going to be able to word this the way I want, but here goes...
What is your favorite food flavoring? You know the flavors that you can't say no to. The spice/flavor you cook with a lot.
What food flavor turns you away every time?
I adore garlic and can never get enough cilantro! I love the taste of it and the smell.
As far as salt goes - a little goes a long long long way for me. I would prefer no salt over all you taste is salt any day of the week.
I'm not, by any means, saying any of us is old.... but, I was wondering if any of you find that the older you get, you need more spice or other seasonings for food to taste as good as it used to or as good as you remember?
I find myself adding cayenne to dishes that I never dreamed of adding it to before. It just seems to give food more of a zip that I love tasting ... kind of like the pickle juice, pepper juice or vinegary things do.
