What was the last movie you saw in the theater? Do you prefer to see them on the big screen or at home?

I think the Lord of the Rings trilogy.  It's too darn expensive to go to the theatre.  I would rather watch them at home anyway.

Mine was The Hobbit a few months ago.   I liked it.   But I think I do prefer to watch at home where I can work crossword puzzles, fold laundry, or something while I watch.

Wow, Karen.   I think you win.  Admission has gone up just a little since then.   That's my biggest issue with movies, the cost.   For me to take the two kids to a night movie, it's $25, before they hit me for popcorn.   Add one small popcorn and one small drink to share and that's another $11.

THis is about the 4th time I've answered this... let's hope it goes through.

Last movie I seen at the theater was The Help.  Loved it... read the book too which of course was better but at least the movie wasn't horribly different than the book.

I don't mind watching movies at home but I don't mind going to the theater either, some movies are better there... movies with special effects lie super hero movies.  Now that my kids are older it's better for us since they pay for their own.  There ARE some good things about your kids getting older... lol.
