My half sister's birth made me a middle child, but I don't think it affected much. I was so excited to have a little sister and we all doted on her.
I don't think I have stereotypical characteristics of a youngest child.
I am first born... and no, I do not think I have the characteristics of a first born.... my sister has them.
The sister next to me and I fought all the time growing up. We get along well now...actually my entire family gets along really well. We had a family game night last Friday and everyone was there. I feel really blessed for that. I know there are a lot of families that don't get along or only get along when they HAVE to.
"Technically," I am the youngest. But, I always say I am an olny child.
I am the only child to survive birth, born to parents who were in their forties (43 and 47).

I'm the oldest. I have 2 younger sisters. I'm not really the take charge kind of person. I'm more of a follower, I guess. None of us are take charge or the leader types. I have become more outspoken as I've gotten older but I don't like confrontation except if it has to do with my youngest sister. I wish I could be at the hospital right now so I could give her a piece of my mind. Instead I've spewed off here. LOL
