Mine isn't a real tree skirt, it is a round table cloth, but I love it and it works. I HAVE to have one this year!!! I put the tree up by mysef in a hurry and it is a little crooked, so I put a big rock on the base of it to strighten it up. hahaha

I've got a tree skirt - it is a quilted one that one of my aunts made -star shaped - I love it.

I'd take a picture, but I finally wrapped some presents last night, and Erick has his model train running around the tree this year, so packages are pretty carefully stacked on top of the skirt. The boys and I started with just wrapping Dad's since he was doing a beer tasting last night.....but then they wanted to keep going, so we wrapped Grandma and Grandpa's, and Uncle Brent's...As often is the case, their enthusiasim made me just a little cranky. I prefer wrapping when the boys are out of the house - I can be a little more organized and methodical.... But, at least some of it is done!

My BFF painted me a tree skirt, many years ago...I never really cared for it, but she put a lot of time, effort & caring into it, so used it knowing it was the thought that counts & once all the presents are there it was covered anyway. Several years ago DH spotted a skirt a Cracker Barrel that he had to have, so that is what we use now. He picked out an angel at CB a few years ago, too & that is our tree topper (too busy to answer that one yesterday). It is a little gaudier & more ornate than I would choose, but it is okay...sometimes I think he is a little old lady with the gold, fancy stuff he picks out...

Yes, must have a tree skirt. We use the one I made when we first got married.

I have one that is cream colored with gold trim. I bought it many years ago. I'd love to have a handmade one. Maybe I'll tell my mom or MIL that I'd like one for Christmas next year. They are both quilters.
