My dad works at a plastic recycling center. They make trash bags and freezer quart bags with the plastic there. I haven't bought trash bags or freezer bags in years. They are a little on the thin side, but since they're free, I just double bag. There's only one problem, my Dad's due to retire this year. :(
We uses biodegradeable bags of corn or sugar canes.
Store brand 13 gallon kitchen bags with drawstrings.

You all inspired me to actually buy a name brand garbage bag instead of house brand. We'll see if I notice a difference.
