What size bed did you have as a kid?

Did you share a room?

What were the colors?

We had 3 girls in one room.  The oldest got the twin bed and my other sister and I shared a full size.  The walls were purple, carpet was creme, and the bedspread and curtains were purple and white, with flowers on the I believe.

What size bed did you have as a kid?  I had two twin beds in my room.

Did you share a room?  Nope

What were the colors?   Pale pink when I was really little, then while I was gone to summer camp the summer before my 5th grade year my parents redid my room while I was gone.   It went to pale green carpet, very pale green walls with one wall wallpapered with a pastel light yellow, blue and green floral paper.   My comforters were white with pale green stripes.

What size bed did you have as a kid? I had a twin bed at first and then a double.

Did you share a room? I shared a room with my grandma for a little bit after she moved in with us but then I was alone

What were the colors?  Lime green and yellow and I had green carpet to match. yikes

I had wild flower wallpaper to match. We moved in in the 70's. We had that same green counter tops in the bathroom. My mom went all out!  Lol

Well I started out in something like this -

Then I shared a room with my brother and had a twin bed -

When we moved out of the 3 family house we lived in I got my own bedroom - it was pink and white and had a full - size canopy bed -

Up through kindergarten I shared a room with my brother, then we moved and we each had our own rooms. My room was pink on three walls with one wall of big tulip wall paper. The stems were almost lime green - a little paler than the "quote" button above this box, and I had sheer dotted swiss curtains in that green color. I had a white twin bed with gold swirly trim - very girly, and a matching dresser. Dad broke the bed, standing on it to kill a spider on my ceiling. It was replaced with a captains bed - as the dresser was falling apart and I needed drawer space.

When I was in high school. We repainted the room light blue, replaced the wall paper with a white background and tiny blue flower pattern and replaced the curtains and comforter (in navy).

I had a white canopy bed with gold trim - it matched this:

i had a Holly Hobbie bed set, like this one:

Then I got a set of bunk beds sort of like this. Mine had a built in closet and the bottom bunk stuck out where the desk was and wasnt really attached.

After I got older, I had a full size bed, and my room was changed every couple of years, I like redecorating. LOL

Until I was 2-3 I slept in the same room as my parents, I dont remember that room at all. Then  I started sharing a bunkbed with my older sibling and my oldest sister slept in the same room but in a sofa.  The sofa was made in wood and was old fashion sofa bed, perfect for a child and it had a lid on it.  I remember hating sharing a bunked with my sister because she loved to scare me and be nasty to me.  And it was twin size.  The floor was grey speckled and vinyl, that all I remember of that room.

Then I got my own room, I got  to choose the wall paper my self, so a red flowers on white background and the floor was a speckled brown vinyl. It was the second smallest room in the house, it was also the most stinky and cold room, but it was mine and I could sleep with out nasty suprises in the morning.   Oh the stink came from a valve at the kitchen fan turned the wrong way so it vented into my room and the cold came from a valve in the radiator turned the wrong way.   I complained for years but no one belived me until I moved out and it became my parents computer room, then my dad found out what was wrong and he understood why I hated liverstew. He even called and apologiezed.

I even remember what wallpaper I got to re do the room in, that was a flower pattern too, white background,  purple, pink and apricot  flowers on a green vein with leafs, it did look really nice.  My sisters got thier  rooms redone much  ealier then me, my mum always said we couldnt afford my to fix my room until the wallpaper fell down a cold night, yes part of it rolled up like in a carton and fell down.  And I remember the cost for the wallpaper,  8 dollars, yes the whole  room cost 8 dollar to redo.
