What's your favorite thing about where you live?

Well, I've been to Missy's town and to Tracy's town and I would live either place if my family and my job were there too!

Country music and stars. Having the Grand Ole Opry. It's a fun place to live. We have the country but it only takes minutes to get to the city. Reba lives in my town. When Ray managed the JCPenney store he used to see Lorrie Morgan and Faith Hill & Tim McGraw. Lorrie goes to our church.

I like having seasons.

I like having a pro football and hockey team.

I would like the salty air smell and the fresh seafood.

Cows, yeap the first thing I thought of. I like the mixture of village and countryside  here, it is stunning in summer and  enchanting in winter.

Ummmmm My mom and dad are next door.  Most of the community is very supportive.

Not much I can say, I'm not overly "overjoyed" to live here.  When I have to drive 4 hours to Pittsburgh, I wish I lived farther north, like Morgantown (where WVU is) or just over into PA. . . . . . .

I've lived here my whole life.   All my family is here.

It's beautiful.   You can go from urban to rural (horse farms) within a 5-10 minute drive from my house.

It's big enough with a ton of stores and restaurants, yet it's small enough that I rarely go somewhere that I don't know someone.

Summer is longer than winter.   I usually only have to endure 4 months of cold.

And can I say again that the landscape here is beautiful?

We have great sports teams.

We are centrally located within the US.   I can be to a beach within a days drive (a warm beach with palm trees, Sandy ;0) and the mountains within 3 hours.

I guess it would be location.  We are under two hours to Boston.  Just about 2 hours to New York City.  And we can get to the mountains or the ocean in less than an hour.

The first thing that pops into my mind are the seasons.  I love each season for its own reasons.

That and my and DH's family is here.
