How many rolls of toilet paper do you think your family goes through in a week?

I don't know why but like I said, plumbing is a nightmare at my house, every stinking time!! I guess I like having my plumbing flow good more than I like having a friendly tushy! LOL

I would pay for the plumbing to be repaired before I would use Scott tp!  It is rough and not tushy friendly in my book!

Yep, Renee is totally correct!  We are a SCOTT family all the way!  Having all girls, .. it seems like a roll lasts forever!

I think between the 3 of us now, we go through 1 or maybe 1 1/2 rolls a week.

I cannot stand thick toilet paper... I feel like it is leaving all kinds of little rolled up toilet paper balls behind like that commercial for Charman with the bears!  Which cracks me up because, in my opinion, it's the Charman that leaves behind the bits of TP!!   I like a clean sweep...and even if you need to use a little more so it's thicker, it is still more economical for me anyway.

I once had a plumber, who seen that we use Scott, tell me it was the best for our toilet pipes (septic, sewer, whatever) and he was glad to see we were using it.  He came because tree roots had gotten into the lines.

And when Amber & Nick had their toilet (septic, sewer) back up and go through the ceiling of their basement a month after they moved in ... the plumbing people told them the same thing.  I am not taking any chances.... plumbing in my house is a nightmare and if it takes using a thinner toilet paper, I will do it.

Ashleigh and I both used to get so irritated if my hubby stopped by the store and got Angel Soft, Charman or even the thicker SCOTT stuff.

But, even after that disaster at Amber & Nicks...  and the plumber's advice, Nick refuses to use Scott.  Amber had a big adjustment getting used to the "triple ply" that Nick wants.  He told her that buying the triple ply was one of the 2 things that were NOT negotiable ...I cannot remember right now what the other was.

Secretly I kind of hope somehow they need to hire a plumber (but not the leaking disaster) and he, once again, reinterates the need for them to use SCOTT!  LOL  I am terrible...

I like the double rolls of MD - have been buying them for years. Don't know why I settled on that particular brand, but I am loyal - not too thick, not too thin, not too soft, not too rough. Just right, says Goldilocks..... I buy double rolls so I don't have to replace the TP so often!

Agreed Tracy and Sandy.  We don't like Scott either.  DH doesn't like the super fluffy ones either (Charmin).  I've bought Angel Soft for years.  DH also asks that I buy the single rolls and not the double.  I can find them on sale for $1.00/pack (4 rolls).  Not too hateful.

Oh Tracy I am with you on the can't stand Scott tissue.  My FIL loves Scott tissue.  I don't remember how the conversation came up about toilet paper but he asked if we ever tried Scott tissue and I said no.  He bought us like a case of it.  We tried one roll and I very nicely gave him back the rest.

Note to self:  When going to visit Renee and Daisy be sure to bring a roll of toilet tissue.  No need if visiting Tracy.

I am not sure how much we go through. The boys seem to go through very little.... and Erick uses WAY more than a man should need to, I think!  If, on the rare occasion someone else actually changes the roll and puts it up "wrong", I just fix it!  I would guess about a roll a week for DH and I, and less than that for the boys. ??

I insist on it being hung the "good" way. Can't stand Scott tissue. I have to use twice as much so I don't feel like my fingers are going to poke through.

That can't be right Missy - 4 rolls a day??

When I worked in the day care we went through about a roll a day...

And that was with maybe 7 kids and 2-4 adults !

I knew we went through a ton of toilet paper and now it's worse than I thought,  reading all your answers. I bought a 96 roll at Sam's and we went through it in 3 weeks. WTH??? That's just shameful...
