Filling in for Renee today...

Now that Halloween is over and the Christmas stuff is already on the shelves... what is your favorite holiday tradition that you look forward to at this time every year?

What is the one tradition or task that you dread?

Right now, I guess it would be Thanksgiving Day Dinner.

I look forward to thanksgiving dinner with all the family and decorating the tree with the kids. We put our tree up the weekend after thanksgiving.

I dread trying to get the kids to stand still for photos for holiday cards. And this year I am dreading taking all the lights off my "pre-lit" tree. After only a couple uses, most of the lights have stopped working on our artificial tree and I'm going to have to remove them before we can use the tree this year. Ugh.

Gus - so exciting to be decorating your own house for the first time! I went to a bridal shower last month and one of the gifts was all Christmas themed. Decorations and ornaments. I thought that was such a great idea for a new couple. Sure to be used for years to come!

I think we are going to have a house full of misplaced soldiers for the Christmas this year. I am really looking forward to having so many people around for a Christmas since the past two have been kinda lonely, last year it was David and I and the year before I sat home alone...
