Easter plans and a Menu ??
Well since my 84 soon to be 85 year old MIL does not host holiday dinners any longer and my SIL's kitchen is under renovations it will be me once again making dinner for about 10 of us.
To tell you the truth if it were not for my Dad, MIL & FIL still enjoying Easter dinner I would just blow the whole thing off.
We are off to the in laws on sunday for roast turkey! thats all I know so far!
Nobody in my house is big on ham either.... so, I am thinking a turkey will do nicely.
Forgot to add that I will also be making a yummy dessert.... I am REALLY leaning towards this recipe I posted in the dessert folder...
Kids and grandkids coming here Sunday afternoon late.
Gaye I thought my family were the only ones that had potato salad for Easter dinner.

Well, we have early bird church - Tristan has to be there at 7 to help set up for breakfast - it is a fundraiser for the youth group - they will prep during the 7 am outdoor service, then serve breakfast immediately following. Egg hunt for Riley at 8:30, Choir sings at the 9 and at the beginning of the 11 am services. Then we take off for MIL and SILs. About an hour north of us.
SIL is cooking dinner - we nearly always have lamb. I like the lamb well enough (she always does a great job), but sometimes I wish we would have ham. It was always ham when we were growing up, with scalloped potatoes, or potatoes au gratin. Not that I would eat the potatoes....
Honestly, I haven't given it a thought. . . . guess maybe I should get on it huh?!?!
