My co-worker noticed yesterday afternoon that he had a brown belt on with black pants and black shoes.

I can't remember if I ever wore something unmatching.

I had a pair of navy shoes and a pair of black shoes that were almost the same shoe.

Yes, I have... I once wore 2 different shoes to church. I put one of each on to see which looked better with my dress and completely forgot to change one of them. I was so embarrassed I spent the rest of the service (after I noticed) in the bathroom!

Okay... tell me something, gals.... we've had this conversation at work too. In one of our staff meetings, one of the gals said that she accidentally wore black shoes with brown pants and was horribly embarrassed. I didn't get it... I figure black shoes go with everything! Why wouldn't they go with brown pants? Are you supposed to wear navy shoes with navy pants, black shoes with black pants, brown shoes with brown pants, and so on and so on? I have worn black shoes with brown pants several times.... I do not make sure I have a good pair of work shoes in every color so I can match them up with my pants.. ... so I am thinking maybe I'm a fashion flub too, Shelly... LOL

LOL I have done the blue socks thinking that they were black. Otherwise, I am pretty much just a fashion flub every day!

Yep - the worst one was when I wore two different colors of shoes - I had a dark penny loafer and a medium brown penny loafer on. I didn't even notice until lunch (started with kids at 7). None of the kids said anything, so they must not have noticed, because in middle school they WILL say something. I have also worn navy socks when I thought I had black on a bunch of times. That isn't very noticeable, though......

I have worn dark navy blue pants thinking they were black when I put them on before.
