I meant to post this earlier....

What was Sunday's supper??

Nick went to a movie with his brother (after watching the Lions win at his brother-in-law's) so Amber & Ash came back here and I cooked tacos... man alive, they were really good.

I fixed homemade mac & cheese topped with sliced tomatoes with smoked sausage on the side. It was delicious & I ate to much. I just had 2 chocolate chip cookie (home baked from a mix) with a glass of milk -- comfort food Sunday!

Sandy, I've heard of people putting chips on their burgers but I've never done it. I don't mind the combo.... I often eat chips on the side when I have a burger. But, the thought of the chips getting all soggy turns me off... I'd rather have them on the side so they stay crispy. It takes me too long to eat a burger... it's one of those things that my stomach will revolt about if I eat it too fast.

Now...l never did comment about the slaw on bbq sandwiches... I do it... and I also put slaw on my hot dogs...

Guss... if you like that KFC Cole Slaw... you need to try the copycat recipe I posted a while back... Renee and I both love it!

We had leftovers. Had company for brunch, so I was in no hurry to cook anything. Leftover meatloaf, baked potatoes and broccoli. Still yummy the second time around:)

we used to put chips on our fried bologna sandwiches when we were younger. never tried it on a hamburger though.

there are several places around that have different types of "dogs"
slaw dog - hotdog with cole slaw on top
spanish or chili dog - hotdog with chili on top
kraut dog - sauerkraut on top
slauce dog - kraut and sauce on top
reuben dog - sauce, kraut, and swiss cheese on top
I'm sure there's more....

we had chicken tenders (bisquick box recipe), fried potatoes, rice, applesauce, and crusty bread
