Yup, I wrote this out, copied it, and when I posted I got “page cannot be found.”   When I tried to paste it, there was nothing there.   Again.   Happened to be in Babble too.   UGHHHHH!!

Apparently the Super Bowl is today.

Do you have any plans?   What are you cooking/eating?

I have no plans.   I couldn’t even tell you who is planning.   We won’t watch any of it and we have no special food plans.

I only know who is playing because I ask =)..

I have two squares- $5 each- each quarter pays $125 - Wish ME luck !

I will make junk food only because I have a reason ! John will watch- the only game he watches. I will watch the half time show.

I made crab rangoons last night- he wants that little lunch meat rolled up with cream cheese in it- I am making chicken quesidillas. I got some hellava good dip- good stuff =). It was on sale for 99 cents and I had a 75 cent off coupon. And I have beer..

We will watch.  I like football.  No special food.  But whatever we have will be easy eating  in front of the TV stuff.

Cute Valentine's sig, Renee - Daisy? Nice work, Daisy!! If Tristan's grades were better, he would be watching the game, but they aren't, so we won't even have it on. DH and I couldn't care less! We do have "Super Bowl Snacks" on the menu, though. Nachos, the Healthy Mozzarella sticks from SkinnyTaste.com(hope they turn out, never tried them before), etc. Just an excuse to eat! I need to do my weekly grocery shopping, and would really like to go and get it done now, but I will wait until 2:30 (kick-off) so all the clueless men looking for beer and chips will be gone. Shopping on Super Bowl Sunday BEFORE the game is crazy. I learned my lesson last year!

It's 49ers vs. Ravens. Both the coaches are brothers. Should be a good game. I'm pulling for the 49ers.

I'm making potato soup in the crockpot. I'll post the recipe if it's any good. Baylie has plans the rest of us will be watching at home. Exactly where I want to be. Plopped on my couch in comfort clothes. Go 49ers!!

So for those that watched the Super Bowl - was there a dry eye in the house when the 26 members of the Sandy Hook Elementary School took the field?

I would have cried.   But, as predicted, my TV never turned to the game one time.  We watched some of the Gypsy show marathon on TLC, then found some ghost shows to watch.

Sandy, that was heart wrenching.

Some of the commercials were funny too. The Go Daddy.com was gross. Could have done without it. Yuck.

I didn't hear them announce the children's choir, but when the name came onto the bottom of the screen, I started crying.  Then out came Jennifer Hudson and ruined the song.  I think she oversang it.  Aleica Keys did really well on the National Anthem.  I can't remember the last time I've seen someone play an instrument AND sing.  We were pulling for the 49er's and they did their best to make it a great game.  We watched from the comfort of our couch and I didn't make anything special.

My 3 yo nephew said that the 49er's were playing the raisins. ;)

Cara - what did you think of the skinny mozz sticks?  My clan loved them.

Mozz sticks were pretty good, but I sure hate the sticky-gluey process. I froze the cheese a couple days before, but I should have breaded them and froze them ready to go in the oven. Some of them got too melty....

It was a messy and time consuming process.  I didn't have a problem with the melty part.  But I definately had more dredge on my fingers than on the mozz sticks.
