We're one step closer to FRIDAY!
Anything planned for tonight?
Tomorrow Brooks is bringing in cookies to school for her birthday and we're going to a friends house tomorrow for supper and drinks. So tonight I am baking cookies AND brownies, which doesn't leave much time to make supper. DH is feeling a little under the weather too (head cold). Anywho, something that is quick, easy, and good for sickly's is tomato soup and grilled cheese.

Well Daisy it is your house and if you want to sit around bra less in your nightgown go ahead. I am sure the "workers" won't mind!
SOMEBODY mentioned KFC yesterday and it stuck in my head all day.... so, I bought an 8 piece dinner with mashed potatoes, gravy, biscuits & cole slaw. I also bought a Chicken Pot Pie for my hubby to take in his lunch today... they were on sale for $3.99.
The basement guys have been there each night checking on the drying and last night we also had the laundry tub pump guy there fixing it... he was waiting in the driveway when I got home.... the basement guys had locked the front door after they checked downstairs even though we had left it open for the laundry pump guy!
Anyway.... i did not want to cook with all that going on... i hate when workers are at the house because I do not feel comfortable and I feel like I cannot do what I would normally do.... like go change my clothes the minute I walk in the house and sit around braless in my nightgown! LOL
P and I had a day out together today. We went to Lowe's Wal-Mart, K-Mat, Gabriel Brothers and Red Lobster for dinner. I don't do sea food, so I had Chicken with Portabello wine sauce. It was sooooooo yummy!!! Mashed potatoes and the biscuits they serve and salad.
Riley (and Erick) is on the schedule for buttermilk pancakes.
I love tortilla soup!
I want comfort food. Chicken and stuffing casserole or something like that. But it is 78 degrees outside today (yes, in February), so it might just be a big bowl of salad with chicken strips on top and ranch dressing.
I hope Nemo misses you, Sandy.
Thursdays are always rough for me. Softball right after school, pick up from softball at 6:00. DS has basketball practice so the ex can't help with her softball run. I have to be back here for overtime at 7:00. And that's why almost every Thursday is CP soup day. Tortilla Soup is in the Crock now.

Well with the blizzard on it's way here John will be staying late at the office tonight. It is tax season and he needs to work late tonight because of the storm headed in for tomorrow straight through till Saturday afternoon. I will make myself some quick and I think I'll catch a Zumba class at the "Y" tonight.
