What's the plan, Stan?

I didn't get to do the saurkraut & polish sausage last night so I'll probably cook it tonight.  Amber asked me to watch the kids for a while yesterday after work because she had to return some equipment to Comcast... and you do not just go to Comcast and drop off stuff.... you wait in a line for at least an hour... sometimes way  more!  She also had to go to FedEx to ship the box of stuff we bought for Erica, to my niece in Texas, who is getting married in June.  Her Bridal Shower is in next week and I hope she gets it in time.  Anyway... I had the kids til 7:30 pm and my hubby picked up pizza subs on the way home.

I did cook the saurkraut and polish sausage... it was delish!  I ate a whole bowlful and I would have ate more but I think all that cabbage did something to my stomach.... started rumbling and not a good rumble... LOL

I was thinking of bringing it for lunch today but was kind of afraid after that.... then I thought about taking the rest to my mom but I am a little afraid of it doing the same to her.  It probably won't because I wasn't nauseated or anything, just went right through me.  Anyway.... i did enjoy it though... tasted awesome!

Grilled brats and dogs.  It is raining pretty good right now, so we may just boil them in beer and skip the grill. Depends on how much energy DH has when he gets home. They are heading into culinary week at the university, so he is working long hours and is pretty stressed out. The master chef who comes to do the trainings and presentations is a very successful ex-boyfriend of Erick's boss (from the Culinary Institute of America), and she always freaks out before he comes. She piles more work and all her insecurities on Erick and Doug, even more than usual.

We are going here:

I'm eyeballing the Broiled Stuffed Grouper:  grouper stuffed with crab and scallops.   Yum.   And it looks like a real classy joint, "real" silverware available upon request.
