What's on the menu for tonight?

I put a beef roast in the crock pot, added a little water and sprinkled a dry onion soup mix over it this morning before I left work.

Missy, I think this one was a Chuck Shoulder Roast... but I'm not positive. I normally buy Round Steak to put in the crockpot since there is hardly any fat on it. I hate biting into a glob of fat. The bad thing about there being no fat, is that's where all the good taste is. But, the onion soup mix helps with that.

If I bit into a roast and tasted onion I would die.

Chuck roast is usually the one I get too. So, how was it??

We ended up with Pizza Hut last night. That's what happens when Ray is in charge of dinner.

Tracy.... that's the beauty of a dry onion soup mix... you don't bite into any big onion pieces... but it gives it a great flavor! I know, I know... you don't like the onion flavor... but, you DO like the onions on a McDonalds hamburger... I think that's strange... lol

I pick off the onions on a McDonald's cheeseburger if there are a lot of them in one bite.
