I love how a plain ole word of the day post gets a conversation going about ex's and sea pigs... ROFL... Karen - ha ha ha on the cement shoes! But I will admit that sometimes my guy can be a real ahole too!

Someone is not getting the game.  I agree about Ex husbands!  Aholes!

Tracy, we both have sea pigs.  I'd like to see mine in the sea with cement shoes on.

Yes!  Kuhlia marginata!   The reason I know this is because my ex girlfriend talked for 4 hours about  Kuhlia marginata, Poecilia reticulata,Poecilia sphenops and told me I was too stupid to understand what she and the other person was talking about.   Ehum, we where there not to talk about fish but what we could do to save the coffee shop we where in!  *sigh*

Hey I just remembered something I heard once -

Question:  What does every woman do with her AHOLE?

Answer: Dresses him up and sends him to work!

Well I always considered my EX an AHOLE so I know for sure mine was a "sea pig" at least according to Daisy's definition of the word!

LOL You gals are funny!!!!

I found it in the Hawaiian Dictionary...

Ahole:  An endemic fish found in both fresh and salt water.  The mature stage is ahole, the young stage aholehole.  Because of the meaning of "hole," to strip away, this fish was used for magic, as to chase away evil spirits and for love magic.  It was also called a “sea pig” and used ceremonially as a substitute for pig.

And Cara... you are on the right track.... Foreigners were sometimes called ahole because of the light skin of the fish.

I don't know if this is a true picture but they sure are pretty!
