The kids will be with their dad. We have no games or practices. Jeff has an FOP meeting. I am going out with a friend to a Mex place to celebrate her birthday, which was yesterday.
Not 100% sure but I am leaning toward grilled pork chops. Weather here has been just beautiful. Still great grilling weather.
We had asian styled fish cakes and I have fallen in love with panko, these bread crumbs are ace.
Here we most often use bone dry breadcrumbs made from crispbread, panko is fairly new here.
Whole Foods and our Stew Leonards have their own brand now too! They also fancy them up with different stuff like lemon pepper, Italian seasonings, spinach and chive, Mexican style and of course Whole Wheat. A good friend of ours who's sister lives in Japan turned us on to them. If I don't get the Whole Foods or Stew's I usually get this one -
The only store that used to sell them here was a rather smelly and buginfested Thai store, I never bought them but now that the normal big stores are selling them and I wanted to try and since I got them a bit cheaper then normal, I thought why not.
