This has me wanting some pasties too.... the kind you eat not the kind you wear! LOL
They all look and sound fantastic. Can't say that I have ever heard of a meat pasties though. However, I am familiar with the other kind, Daisy....
I'll keep that in mind, lol! My grandmother from Scotland used to make pasties (the food kind), similar to the recipe you posted, but hers had sliced steak and potatoes cooked in pastry. They were to die for; my mouth is watering just thinking about them. Going to have to get the recipe from my sister now...
I wonder if y'alls meat pies are like our famous pasties from
the Upper Penninsula of Michigan?
I asked MIL about the pies on facebook... and this was her reply-
Sandy-I will have to ask her for you! they taste really yummy.... but they arent like the aussie ones Im familiar with! the ones we have at home are beef with gravy, but you can buy chicken ones too..
Lasagna.... one of the big frozen things by Marie Callender. Will probably have green beans with it.
I want the recipe for meat pie too..... i've never tried it either!
