They all look and sound fantastic.   Can't say that I have ever heard of a meat pasties though.   However, I am familiar with the other kind, Daisy....

I'll keep that in mind, lol! My grandmother from Scotland used to make pasties (the food kind), similar to the recipe you posted, but hers had sliced steak and potatoes cooked in pastry. They were to die for; my mouth is watering just thinking about them. Going to have to get the recipe from my sister now...

PS: I DO NOT RECOMMEND SEARCHING FOR "PASTIES" WHILE YOU ARE AT WORK!!! I NEVER EVEN THOUGHT OF THE OTHER TYPE OF "PASTIES" COMING UP IN THE RESULTS... BOY WAS I SURPRISED! PASTIES (PRONOUNCED IN THE BEGINNING LIKE PAT) = MEAT PIES PASTIES (PRONOUNCED IN THE BEGINNING LIKE PAY) = TITTY TASSLES lol

I asked MIL about the pies on facebook... and this was her reply-

These were pork, but you could use other meat.
Most people especially in Quebec, use half and half pork and beef.they could be made with beef and turkey or chichen, or turkey alone.
