Anything good tonight?
Today is Ash Wednesday, which is the start of Lent. No meat for us. DH is going to make grilled cheese and tomato soup and have it ready right when we walk in the door at 5. Church is at 6 tonight.

I have a meeting for work that will run until about 5:00. I usually get off work at 4:00. The ex is picking up DD and getting her fed before softball. I am going to run to the store and get the kids something small for Valentine's Day as well as a little good luck something for DD for her softball tryout tomorrow. Supper? No clue. Maybe grilled cheese and soup for me too (but not tomato soup, gross). I may pick something up while I am out.
One more leftover meal in the fridge for me!
Tracy what time is DD's try out scheduled for? Will she know tomorrow if she makes the team or not?
Thanks for the reminder, Tracy! I bought the girls Valentine's Day cards. I need to remember to get those out! DH is going to take the girls out for a Valentine's Day supper tomorrow. I have parent teacher conferences from 5-545. Midterms come home today. This year is zooming right on by!
Tryouts are from 4:30-6:00 tomorrow. She will know when she leaves if she made it or not. My stomach, and hers, are in knots over it. Any prayers or positive thoughts around that time are appreciated.
I am going to the Ash Wednesday service at noon today. The choir is not singing at the 7 PM service because our director is at the music educators' convention in San Antonio.
Then I'm going to pick up the grandkid from school, take him home, and stay while his mom goes to the gym. I'm taking the lasagna I made last night. I COULD stay and eat with them, but I will probably come home because I have to feed my zoo, and my foster has separation anxiety so I don't want to be gone forever.
Lasagna is one of those things that is better the next day, anyway.
You should both just take a deep breath and try to relax. You can surround her in positive white light Tracy. You remember how to do that and you know how it works !
Susan you can tell your DH for me I LOVE how he treats the "women" in his life. Taking the girls out for a Valentine Dinner, flowers on their birthday - LOVE IT even if he needs a slight reminder from "Mom".!
I agree Gaye - lasagana does taste better the next day!
Went to church this morning because it's a busy dance night tonight.
We will either have fried shrimp or cod. Depends on what everyone wants.
Good luck to RA!!!!!
