Weekend Plans?

What's going on?

Tonight is the first Friday in 4 weeks that I didn't have to work.   YAY!!   Of course I got a text yesterday that DD has softball practice.   We'll work that out.   I am looking forward to cooking at home and just hanging out with the kids.

Tomorrow I am selling one tub of clothes that I washed up last weekend.   I have 3 others.   After that I am taking the kids to an orchard to pick apples.

They are both being farmed out to a friend's house tomorrow night.   Jeff and I are going to one of my oldest friend's parent's house for her a surprise 40th birthday party.   I may make a dish to take.

Sunday is softball again, plus a baby shower for a distant cousin.   At the same time.   The ex is at work.   All my relatives are at the shower.   I need to figure that one out.

Somewhere in there I need to clean, go to the grocery, and get the regular laundry done plus some of the clothes I want to sell.

No plans here.  Just the usual grocery run, laundry, etc.

Saturday I will take my Dad out for breakfast and then we will go to the cemeteries and put out some mums and fall decorations for my mom and my aunts.  It is suppose to be beautiful on Saturday and I know he likes doing it so that's the plan.

Most of the weekend will be whatever we decide to do.

My Reds are 2 games away from a NL Central division win clinch (any combo of a win for us or a Cardinal loss).   I have seriously thought about going up there for their night game Sunday night.   Hmmm....

No.. DON'T do it..... the area around the ball park will go wild and they will burn couches and turn over busses... Stay safe... stay home! =)

Tonight I know I am watching my babies but I do not know if we are getting their pictures made yet. They were super crabby last night and Amber said Pres did not sleep good either so she may cancel.

Tomorrow I am not sure if my hubby is working or not.... I hope he does. I know that sounds crazy but we need the money! O/T baby....

Either way, I will do my laundry, get groceries and pick up the house. Saturday evening we will probably watch the kids again for a couple hours while mommy & daddy are watching a blue ray.

Sunday is church then over to Brad & Alisha's for Football Sunday! It's byo food again... and my Subway sandwich was really good last week so I am thinking I'll get that again. During September they have a lot more FIVE DOLLAR FOOT LONGS! YAY... i had turkey with cheese, pickles, mayo, onions & yellow peppers... it was delish!

Sunday evening... back home to get psyched up to go back to work on Monday.... and I am sure I will be thinking, Sheesh, that week-end went fast!

There's a Pittie Party at the shelter.  There's EcoFest downtown, and the Friends of the Shelter group has a booth.  And my 8-year-old grandson has his first football game.  I can't be in three places at once.

It's going to be 95 stinkin' degrees today, and I'll be on the pee wee football field at noon.

Then Amy and I have to go to the craft store to get stuff to make a homecoming mum for her older boy to give to his date nezt weekend.  Yes, he's 15 1/2 and a sophomore in high school.

Is this just a Texas thing, or is it nationwide now?

Gaye - in our area you just buy the corsage/boutineer from a flower shop. Never heard of making one.
