Weekend Plans?

Welcome back home Daisy!  That is a cute picture!  You are unpacking and I am packing.  Ugh!  Just waiting for John to get home so we can finish up his stuff.  

Think I will take him to PF Changs for a quick early dinner.  Need to pick milk, eggs, bread and a couple of other things for the dog/house sitter at Trader Joe's.  Need to leave a couple of sticky notes for her on a couple of things and then I am hitting the har.  We have to get up at 3:00 am to get to the airport by 5:00 am in time for our 6:00 am flight.  Now someone please tell me why I booked the early flight out??????

We finally got home around 11:00 pm Thursday night.... we had a 5 hour delay in Atlanta because of weather in Atlanta and in MIlwaukee (where our plane was coming from).  I was wore out so I went straight to bed.  I slept until after 10:00 am Friday and I felt exhausted all day.  Nick dropped the kids off around 2:00 and Amber came home from work at 4:00 then we went to Venus and then came back to the house. 

I still feel worn out...I can tell I'm getting older... it's taking me longer to recover.  I am sure that taking a bunch of dramamine & sinus pills before and during our flights didn't help either... lol.  

We had family breakfast this morning.  Amber snapped this pic and sent it to me of my dad & Luke walking into Cracker Barrel .... I love it!

If you're wondering about the jeans & jackets... we have come home to a cold spell... it's only getting to 67 today.  Almost 40 degrees difference!

I have the kids while Amber is cleaning out the room in her house where they put eveyrthing that they didn't know what to do with when they moved in.  Ashleigh is there helping her and my husband is working today after having the last 2 days off.

Tomorrow is church and then I really need to clean this house... I left it decent but when I came in the door, I could smell something sour like garbage.  I did do the dishes yesterday since there was a sinkful that my hubby left me... thanks a lot!  LOL  The smell was in the sink because it smelled way better after I finished but I need to clean out the junk from the fridge, spot mop the kitchen, vacuum and clean the dining room table off since that's where we've been sitting stuff since we got home.

I am off on Monday too so I will probably finish unpacking and do all my laundry then.  I am horrible about unpacking.... but I am determined to be totally unpacked and all my clothes washed before I go back to work.  I did my laundry in Texas at Susan's before I left but I have the clothes I wore before I left to go on vacation that need to be  done. Tuesday, back to work... ugh!

Last night I crashed at 8- still hurting... I did make a big pot of chili.

This morning is groceries- gonna visit with Chase and then to the race track.

Tomorrow is cleaning... Fun times!
