PLEASE be working today board... I am having serious Q and E withdrawls and I don't want our group to move on while this is getting fixed.
So, we made it to Friday. What's going on?
I have no baseball and no softball. I have neither for a week. I won't know what to do with myself.
DD is going to a middle school dance tonight. Not sure what the boy and I will do. If it's pretty, as it has been, we will pump up the bike tires and go for a ride. Then I'll pick her up and cook supper. The kids want to look for creepy, haunted shows tonight. I'll see what's on.
Tomorrow, not sure. We may go shopping for their Halloween stuff. DS has no idea what he wants to be. DD wants to be an 80's girl. I think we'll look in consignment stores for neon stuff. We'll crimp her hair and do a side ponytail.
Saturday night, maybe something with Jeff and his kids. He has been back at his mountain house in WV since Wednesday bow hunting. He'll drive home tomorrow. He has his kids, I have mine. We'll either meet for supper somewhere or I'll drive out there. We could do that and use the fire pit.
DS is supposed to go to a Halloween party on Saturday night. He got invited to a boy/girl party with all the super A-list kids in his school. I hope you all know what I am saying there. DS doesn't care for this crowd. The boys, and girls, are nasty to each other and it's survival of the meanest when they are in groups. I never understand the mentality of being nasty to others to be cool. Kids are frustrating that way. So, DS said he can't tell them he has something else to do, because their are boys here from church and baseball. They'd know better. And he said he'd be ridiculed if he just said he didn't want to go. So, my plan is to call him in sick.
Sunday, we have cleaning and such. And... I think we are actually going to get back to church. I have missed it.

Well, I can open this thread, but not Daisy's QOTD. Weird.
No big plans - no more home football games, so Tristan doesn't have pep band.
My folks are going to stop by and visit for a bit on Saturday- they are at a nearby (well, hour and a half away) park for awhile and need to pick up their mail. That means we need to do a little house cleaning tonight.
My choir sings Sunday morning, so early bird church, and Sunday night rehearsal.
Don't forget legwarmers and a torn-neck, off-the-shoulder sweatshirt for RA, Tracy.
I don't get the mean-kid stuff, either Tracy. I don't see it very much, but maybe that is because I don't have any of the ultra-cool kids in choir. Thank God! Maybe D can use the "I have to do this thing with my Dad" thing as an excuse ? Maybe not..... guessing since the ex coaches, that might not fly.....

Tomorrow I want to go buy apples, swing by my moms and get the canner, then back home and can some apple pie filling. Then out to MIL's for supper.
Sunday is football and I want to use the rest of the apples for applesauce.
All the fill in time will be laundry and cleaning.

My husband and I are going away for the week-end. We are going with our church to Clare, MI... about 1.5 hours away. It's a sweetest day getaway or something like that. Anyway... we've been paying on it since May. It's not that much money ($275) but we couldn't afford it all at once. It includes 2 nights, breakfast Sat & Sun and a banquet w/entertainment on Saturday night. We are leaving, hopefully, as soon as we both get home from work today. They said the rooms were 1st come 1st served and I want the King bed... not 2 doubles... lol.
The thing is supposed to be over on Sunday at noon so that's where I'll be until then... after we get home, we will probably just watch football at the house and I will need to get some groceries for the week. I cleaned the house this morning but I will probably have to do laundry too.
Yay, responses. I kept getting "Script run time error" when posting. Hopefully that will straighten out.
I want the consignment prices for DD's costume, not retail. I figured this is stuff she will never wear again.
Daisy, your weekend sounds fun. Enjoy. I have never heard of Sweetest Day other than you and Renee talking about it. Must be a Michigan thing.
