Weekend Plans?
Fri, 01-25-2013 - 7:45am

What's on the agenda this weekend?

Not a lot here.   Waiting to hear if my ball game tonight is canceled or not.  If it is, Jeff and I will hang out here in front of a fire and catch up on Justified.   If I have to work, Jeff will come over for a quick supper and I'll have to go.   Either way, I have already started my tortilla soup in the Crock.   How much time we have to spend together is all that's up in the air.   The kids will be with their dad.

Tomorrow I have some errands to run in the morning.   DD has a 3-hour softball practice (she does every Saturday).  DS will stay with his dad most of the day.   I plan to get a run in sometime before I get him.   After softball DD is going to the UK basketball game with my mom.   I get the boy sometime in the afternoon.   I'll knock out the grocery run in the morning.   After the baskteball game DD is picking up her friend and coming here for the night.   I'll cook something I got at the grocery that morning.

Saturday night, just hanging out listening to DS complain that the girls are hogging the Wii.

Sunday I'll take the whole tribe to church.   And I'll get my cleaning done if I haven't already done so.   DD wants to go makeup shopping with her Christmas money, so maybe a trip to Rite-Aid.   And if the ex doesn't get the boy's hair cut, that is a priority.

PetSmart adoption event Saturday. We adopted out 9 of the 12 dogs we took. I left early because I was freezing.

I had Amy's dog for the weekend because she and her gentleman friend went to Austin to watch his son in a competition.

Still trying to help my ex-boss' family find a Siamese cat for her 80-something mother.  She is a sweet old lady who still drives and plays bridge twice a week.  The family, however, is really, really picky.  They think so long the cat is adopted out from under them before they can make a decision.  Lana says they want a cat like mine, who is OK with dogs and kids, because the whole extended family and pets congregate at Mom's house (she lives on a lake).  Well, Dylan wasn't like that when I adopted him, either.  He is nearly perfect now, but he is MINE, and they can't have him.  LOL

Church this morning.

Not much else.

Going to the office tomorrow to train on commercial auto policy issuance.  Should take less than a working day, but it's a few extra bucks in my wallet.

Sorry I'm late...

Friday evening Amber & the kids came over and we all hung out... then my hubby took them home around 8pm and then I went to bed.... I'm such a party animal!

Saturday morning was family breakfast then I watched the kids all day while my girls and my cousin, SHeryl, all went to IKEA which is over an hour away from us.  They got back around 4:30 in the afternoon then we all got Chinese for supper and hung around the house (Nick had to work Satruday so Amber hung with us too).  Around 7 pm, the girls got a sweet tooth so they went to Kroger and picked up some cookie dough and then burned the first 2 batches... lol.  My girls get their baking skills from me.... none!

Amber was going to have Nick pick her & the kids up after he got off work at 11 pm but she got tired and my hubby ended up taking her home around 8:30... she's a party animal like me.

This morning me & Ash went to church and then I made spaghetti.  For dessert, I picked out a few of the "not too burned" cookies... lol

At church, Amber asked me to watch the kids around 3 while her and Nick go to see Hanzel & Grettel and of course I told her I'd be happy to!  Presley was so darn cute this morning... Amber texted me a picture...

I hope you get your lines unfrozen soon Shelly.  Burst pipes are no fun and can get expensive!

The boys have ANOTHER day off today for snow. We are supposed to get 3-5" today and it's still only like 10* outside.  Burrrrrrr I turned my water on yesterday and it froze off while I had it running. Dad is on his wayyo buy a heater for it. I need it unthawed. I need a shower, laundry and dishes and I want to finish up the wall paper.

Yes, I am feeling better today. Jeffrey is running a temperature. Uggggggg

If my water gets back on, I will do all of the above mentioned things.

P rents a house where he works, it's about an hour drive for him, and he found a place about 10 mins. from work and is moving, so he said he may not be able to come tomorrow and finish up the floor. Ugggggg I just want myliving room back, this is taking WAAAYYY too long formy liking.

I have the handyman coming over on Sunday, I am going to have him get under the house and wrap my water lines to try and keep them from freezing off. And I have a couple other things he can do.  Hopefull P will be here and they can finish up the living room, and I can get all my stuff back in here and arranged.

Other then that, I have no plans for anything. I went grocery shopping already, so I won't need to do that this weekend.

Not much going on here either.  Going to try and sneak in a Zumba class after work - then home to make a fish dinner.  We are getting snow tonight starting around 6:00 pm and into Saturday am.  But they are saying just a coating to an inch.

Saturday - just the usual - laundry, grocery shopping and visit my Dad.  Saturday night - dinner at home.

Sunday - Zumba in the morning.  I think we may go to the movies.  We both want to see Lincoln.  It is 2 1/2 hours long so I am hoping to go to the afternoon show.  But that is up in the air at this point.

DH is going to a nearby gun store that recently opened tonight.  Girls and I will hang out at home.  We're supposed to get 1-3" of snow between 6am and 5pm today.  It's snowing pretty good out there right now.

Tomorrow I was thinking of taking the girls to the HS BBall game.  We play my alma mater and its about 10 minutes away.  I haven't decided yet.

Laundry, cleaning, and the groceries...that's it.
