Weekend Plans?

What's Up this Weekend?

Tonight is my last night of overtime for a while.   I have a few dances left, but this should be it sports wise.   I will get home around 9:30-10:00 tonight.  I'll pick up DD on my way home.   She needs to read, read, read this weekend as she has a book due on Tuesday and is only about halfway done.   She is reading A Time to Kill by Grisham.   She had to pick a historical fiction that focused on a social event in the U.S.   She loved To Kill a Mickingbird and stuck with civil rights.   She's regretting picking a long one as softball has taken so much of her time lately.   So she's going to read and I will do something mindless like play Wii or watch TV.

I have a wild one tomorrow.   DS has a basketball game at 8:45 and I need to get DD to softball by 9:30.  I might get my mom to go to my house and pick her up so I don't have to miss most of his game.   After his game I am taking DS to his baseball park to get a tryout number.   His dad is taking him to his tryout.   I have to pick the girl up from softball (they go for 3 hours on Saturdays) and then go to a baby shower.

After the shower I have to get the grocery run in, come home, and cook for a softball potluck tomorrow night.   They have a "team bonding" night tomorrow.   There is a potluck with parent's meeting.   The girls do team building games until 10:00 and then go to one girl's house for a slumber party.   I am supposed to pick her up at 11:00 Sunday morning.   That's a LONG night.   She won't be fit for anything on Sunday.

Sunday DS is going with his dad to visit that side of the family.   DD got a pass.   I'm going to go help my friend with her nasty rental house again.   We are prepping to paint.

Sunday night the kids and I are going out with my parents to celebrate DD making the high school team.

And then there is Monday.   Happy President's Day.   I will get my cleaning done that day.   I love a 3-day weekend.

No big plans around hre. Tomorrow I need to clean, since I spent yesterday with P at the doctor and then had to go pick up his prescription, then I came home and got sick myself. LOL  So I will get up and do some laundry, borrow mom's Shark Steam Cleaner and clean my living room and kitchen.

Sunday we are supposed to go to the sportsmans show. They have campers and boats etc to look at.

I don't think the boys have Monday off, I'll need to look at the calendar.

Breathe Tracy breathe........you have a lot going on.

Not much planned. We have a long weekend here too. Although nothing is planned,  with 2 kids something always comes up. I want soccer to start. I'm ready for some more activities on the weekends.

You got married on Washington's Birthday Susan?  Neat!

Change of plans for us already - going to the in-laws tonight after work.  Have no idea what dinner will be.

Besides the typical cleaning and grocery run, I think the only thing we might do this weekend is go watch my nephews wrestle on Sunday.  I wish I had Monday off, but both DH and I are off next Friday for our anniversary.

I am heading out to my music educator's conference in Portland as soon as I drop Riley off at before-school care. Come home Sunday, then have Monday and Tuesday off to recover. This should be a good conference, as it is the regional one, not just the state, and they usually have more big-name (relatively!) speakers and wider variety of sessions offered. Hoping to find one about teaching class ukulele, as it looks like that may be in my future.

No 3 day weekend for me unless I take a vacation day.  Hmmm - now that's a thought!

We went out last night so dinner home to night and then sitting in front of the fireplace and realx.  Been a long week with all the snow problems and tax season getting into full swing.  We are both pooped.

Saturday I need to stop in and visit with my dad, grocery store shopping It will be a big one since we are out of almost everything.  One nice thing about being snowed in was we really emptied out the fridge & freezer.  Not sure what we will do Saturday night.  Probably just have dinner at home.

Sunday I will hit the "Y" weather permitting then home for laundry.  Sunday night will be getting ready for work on Monday.
