According to Health Day News, 10% of US adults suffer from the pain of arthritis. " More than 50 million Americans have arthritis, and almost half of them can't perform normal daily activities because of the disease, U.S. health officials said Thursday.

Aging and obesity are the chief culprits behind this growing health problem, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention." read more

I don't think it is because of aging and obesity.

More likely it can worsen but there is an even bigger picture.

People not getting diagnosed or treated early enough.

I have both RA and OA and they also thought possibly PsA...

Sometimes they fail to mention what OTHER health problems or issues someone might have.

Heart Disease, Psoriasis/Eczema, Depression and my list could go on and on.

We are dealing with compromized mobility pain, and fatigue.

I wish they would STOP the Blame Game, I feel bad enough ALREADY...:(
