Question on Cherry Juice Concentrate

So, I had my knee replacement on August 1st and everything was going great until a couple of weeks ago.  First I thought I had the flu with aching all over and just feeling run down.  I didn't go to therapy one day that week and the following week both my knees hurt so bad I didn't go to therapy that week either.  A few days later my left hand had a hard red lump on the back and I couldn't use that hand for anything, it even hurt to move my wrist or walk with my hand down at my side.  I ended up sleeping with an ace bandage around my wrist and hand or else I couldn't sleep due to the pain.  A couple of days later my right hand started hurting and my pinky finger was swollen and red to where it hurt to move the last 3 fingers of that hand and I was unable to drive.

Needless to say, I missed therapy that entire week and the degree of knee movement has suffered.  Where I was able to bend it to about 107 degrees before this happened it went back down to 93 degrees.  I came to the conclusion I was having an arthritis flare due to my hands but not sure when to tell if my knees are having an RA flare or it's just osteoarthritis.  I've been back to therapy for 2 weeks now and I'm able to bend to 104 degrees again but that's with a lot of pain and walking is getting more difficult with the joint hurting like crazy.  I want to cry when I need to get up from a sitting position and stairs that were fairly easy before are very difficult.  This is with the knee I had surgery on.

Now I have 2 questions.  Anyone else that's had joint replacement with RA, has the RA affected your therapy and healing?

The other question has to do with Sour Cherry Juice Concentrate.  A friend is an RN but very much into holistic medicine when she can.  I asked if in her reading and research she's come across anything to help with RA.  She immediately said Cherry Juice Concentrate and said they sell it at Publix for $17 a bottle but a dose is only about 1-2 tblsp.  Has anyone else come across this and tried it?  Did it provide any relief?

Thanks.

Everyone I've met in therapy that have had replacement surgery before have said they felt better after a couple of months and couldn't wait to get the other one done.  About a month ago I felt I was doing great and progressing wonderfully but then a few weeks ago things started slowing down and even went backwards to where I'm feeling the same as I did before surgery.  The therapist tried some manipulation yesterday to try and get it to bend more and it did go up about 2 degrees but that was with a lot of pain and tears.

I'm seriously considering the cherry juice but first need to buy it.  From what I understand it's not regular cherry juice you get in the juice aisle but more concentrated and you only take a couple of tblsp per dose.
