Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is primarily a disease of the joints. But the disease and many of the medications used to treat it can also affect the skin, causing problems as diverse as sun sensitivity, rash, and firm lumps of tissue called nodules.

Hi Molly,

Thanks for sharing this.

I have an appointment today because of a problem with my left eye...:(...

Woke up early this morning only to find it almost swollen shut.

I had thought I might have an in-grown hair right under my left eye-brow, there was a bump underneath but now although I can see I cannot open my eye-lid...

So off for an appointment to get it checked out.

Wish me Luck, this really sucks!

It is painful but I thought it might just be coming to a head but now my whole eyelid is now affected.

My ds says I look like someone punched me lol...it's not bruised but red and puffy.
