Hi everyone.  Sorry I've been missing for the last many months but a lot going on here.

How's everyone doing?

My glucose has been great, in the high 90's low 100's and I'm feeling great.  Don and I have been in TOPS for the last 1 1/2 years and I've lost 30 lbs.  Had a problem last summer with my sacroilliac joint with 3 epidurals and steroid injections so I kept gaining and losing the same 10 lbs for most of the year but finally on the track to losing again.  In the same amount of time Don's lost over 70 lbs but what can I say, he's a guy.

Don's daughter is moving back to the U.S. from Sweden when her husband gets his green card which he goes for his interrview next month then should have the green card 2 weeks after that.  In the mean time they sent the 7 year old granddaughter here ahead of them so she's living with us.  She's been here since January 12th and is keeping us on our toes and in the poor house the way the school is nickel and diming us to death each week.  When his daughter and son-in-law get here they'll be living with us until they get on their feet financially which we feel will be about 2 years.  Don's told them we'll put a roof over their heads and a bed to sleep in as well as provide free child care while they go to school and work but they do need to get a job asap so they can chip in for the excess food and utility costs.  Not to mention they'll be bringing a dog and possibly a cat with them and that's additional expenses we really don't want.  The dog would be no problem since we have 3 already and the food is here but we don't keep cat food and litter handy.  Plus neither of us are cat people.

Dee,

I am glad you came back for a visit and that you and Don are doing so well. I hope your step daughter and her hubby are able to get their lives together more quickly than you predict. But I am sure you are happy having a grandaughter around.

Please come back soon to see us.
