Happy Saturday!

I hear rumors that it's Fall somewhere, but today's high is 92 and sunny here in S. TX.  I have been suffering a long month's worth of allergies, sore muscles, and way too much stress.  My life has been changing so fast lately, with my son going to college, my mother's passing, and a divorce, that sometimes I just want to take a "time out" day, but I don't seem to be able to find the time.  I've been so busy with my little guy, getting the house cleaned and decluttered from my hoarder ex, work, general mom duties, and trying to have a life outside of all of that other stuff that I can't seem to make myself just take a day to do nothing.  And by that, I mean laying around all day reading, watching TV, eating whatever I want, and not doing any chores at all.  I am very blessed with two great kids who help around the house, my little one does light house keeping, and my older son and his friend, who comes home with him on weekends for free food, are outside doing tons of yard work for me.  I just finished feeding the masses homemade waffles and eggs, so they will pretty much do anything I ask at this point.  I know logically I should take a break, but when I sit down with nothing to do but think, I just feel sad and lonely, so I stay busy.  Not that I am running away from my life, but I don't think it does me any good to wallow in all the muck, ya know?  I'd much rather watch a football game with some friends and drink a beer!  I've noticed that when I DO spend some time reflecting on my life, I end up in pain, stiff, sore, and headachey, so I'm thinking it's not good for me, lol.   If there isn't any definitive proof that stress makes Fibro worse, I can offer plenty of evidence!  Ugh.

OK, guys, let me know how everyone else is doing!

Hello MCPayton,

I'm back after the flu then pneumonia. Needless to say my asthma didn't as fare well especially with all the coughing aggravating my asthma. Even with a nebulizer it took several treatments to keep the asthma under control. I still have to complete taking 14 days of Levofloxacin 500mg plus 4 more days of steroids after completing a 7 day Z-pack. So far I survived round 3 with pneumonia like an old watch that keeps ticking and wheezing. For several nights my breathing was so heavy it prevented sleep, but last night I slept for 12 hours. The only thing that woke me up was an itchy rash from the antibiotic and steroid (see attachment) a Benadryl cured the itching. My sinuses were a bloody mess too. Those were cleared up with daily irrigations followed by Flonase and Ipratropium Bromide in my nasal atomizer. More messages follow, Ed

Hello McPayton,

If you recall you responded to one of my posting pre-divorce mentioning your desire to find a man who could assist in household chores and other necessary work around the house, well I want to assure such men do exist.

My DS Geek1975 is example living in San Antonio with his DW and 2DS and DD. He is very busy man who appreciates his little time with DW. She wishes she could have him around like an 8-5 normal work day but that isn't possible. Since she keeps the company books DS appreciates she is over tasked and provides a live-in maid to do the household chores and cooking. This is not implying DS cannot do same just only when time permits and more enjoys his family especially DW.

DS hasn't forgotten romance either and takes every effort to show DW his affection.

Some might think I'm too old to understand today's woman, well as you will see in attached photos the proof of my DW and I efforts as a happy married man.

It's my sincere hope you are able to find a man who will respect and treat you like my DS. Ed
