Have you ever had an MRI for your chronic fatigue? Did it show anything unusual? According to Health Day News, "The brains of patients with chronic fatigue syndrome -- an often misunderstood condition marked by unexplained, incapacitating exhaustion -- don't respond to rewards in the same way as the brains of healthy people do, a new study suggests." I had an MRI before I went to see a neurologist, but it was a standard MRI, not one where they took before and after images while waving chocolate in my face. Though, I did fall asleep during it...

I have fibro and all the wonderful symptoms that go with it. Pain, migraines, chronic fatigue, IBS, sleep disorder, fibro fog, depression. I did have an mri some years back because of my migraines. I am expecting to have to have another since I just retained an attorney to help me get disability. I had it for years before I got Dxed I was seeing the dr about individual symptoms and some symptoms I just didn't complain to him about. Finally Dec10 I went in again for arthritis pain. He did hte pressure point test without explaining it while talking to me asking me a gazillion questions that seemed unrelated to my pain, almost like a cooperative conversation. From that he diagnosed the fibro. It is crazy how such unsimilar things go together.
