My Friend has been having a terrible time with excess yeast in her body. It has probably been perpetuated by heavy doses of anitbiotics. Does anyone know of a great Candida cleanse that is fairly quick.

I don't know if there is an actual cleanse for candida, but I do know that getting more live active cultures (found in yogurt) gets rid of it. I am not prone to yeast so I'm not sure how fast acting a daily cup of yogurt would be.

My doc told me plain yoghurt inside and out. Good luck. Do you use Tide detergent to wash your clothes. This was a big cause of my infections. Try to use all natural non chemical soaps. Also steamed broccoli is the best veggie to clean your system.

Some really good advise to you here. I back up them both and suggest using all natural every chance you get!

There is no "quick fix" However.... she should eliminate all processed foods, no sugars or carbs (sugar blooms the yeast just as it does in the kitchen) Take a good probiotic and also a good psyllium husk fiber supplement. The more fiber she includes in her diet (crunchy vegetables) the quicker she will cleanse her system - kinda the same principle as sweeping with a broom.
