I know we keep aloe vera around the house for minor burns and sunburns as we have found it really works. What about you; have you ever used it? What else besides burns have you used it for?

On sunburn. First discovered it in the Virgin Isalnds after a weekend at the Eerglades (and some nasty sunburns resultant therefrom!). Their SCUBA shop had it for sale and we have had a bottle on hand ever since! (Which reminds me ---w e seem to be out!)

Tip --- keep the bottle in the fridge. When it's cool, it is extra-soothing!

We have two kinds of hand cleaner by the kitchen sink - a Purell hand sanitizer and Dial hand wash. Both have Aloe in them as conditioners.

And when we lived in CA, we actuall had some Aloe plants in a big wine barrel in our front entry and a leave, cut edge rubbed on a wound, really helped!

I've used it for bad sunburns, and it works quite well. I don't think I've used it for anything else.

Really only use the gel for burns and sunburns. It works very well.

I never did like aloe vera....just never worked for burns...for me anyway...and I tried all...store bought to straight from the plant. What really works well for me is my DBN's Austrailian Tea Tree Oil. As

I use it for burns and chapped skin. I keep a bottle of it on hand all the time.

I've used it to hair - either to help with hair loss or to help with hair growth. We always have the plant somewhere in the garden.

I use it as a moisturizer on my face. It works wonderfully well.

I've never tried that. Is it in a special form or lotion?

I use Lily of the Desert Aloe Gelly. It's 99% natural. I order it on Amazon, but you can find it at most health food stores. Sometimes I put it all over my body for a little extra TLC. I love it.
