Seriously, I had one BIG downer of a day yesterday and no matter what I did, I could not kick it! Until a coworker told me a funny story and got me to laugh, I NEVER thought I'd smile again!

What do you do to turn your frown into a smile when you're having one of those really downer days:smileysad:?

These are some of the things I do to turn my frown upside down on those really sad days:

Usually there's a friend who will volunteer a sympathetic ear, and one we've briefly talk about what's happening we usually talk about things that make us smile or laugh.

Well sometimes I let myself wallow in it, and just say that today is my sulky day and tomorrow will be better. Or I'll talk to a friend that I know will understand and provide the right amount of "poor me" and "don't be a baby" talk!

Several things can turn my day around. A hug from one of my kids, a funny story, or an unexpected phone call from a friend.

Sometimes I just need to take some time to play with my dogs. They can be so funny, they just can't help but make me smile when I'm feeling down.

I know what you mean. My kitten, Phoebe does the same for me!

Lots of times I'll go to YouTube and watch funny dog videos. Always makes me smile or laugh out loud. Glad you're feeling better. :)
