Greetings!

I have a feeling I may become a regular at this board, but for now I was looking for a little input or feedback.

I've never gone to a Wellness Coach, but I've known a variety of practitioners within complementary medicine that I happily went to. Would Wellness Coaching be similar to lifestyle coaching?

Caly, I started with a wellness coach about 6 weeks ago for a health issue and I am so happy I bit the bullet and did it. I'm actually in a wellness program that includes physical therapy, a few sessions with a personal trainer, nutrition counseling and some other things. I'm feeling great and it is some of the best money I have ever spent.
If it helps you decide any, both my family's health insurance and my sister's insurance companies (two different companies) are including wellness options in next year's benefits. You may be on to something expanding into this area.

I have a Bachelors degree in Holistic Health, but I'm also a certified Wellness Coach and I'm have certifications in nutrition, herbs and also as a Holistic Health Practitioner......

I have found that often there is a misconception as to the definition of "Holistic" and even the term "Alternative." Holistic is addressing the person as a whole - mind, body, and spirit. The thrust of Holistic Health or Medicine is prevention. The term "Alternative" sometimes implies or insinuates that a person should choose between natural medicine and

thanks so much for your reply and input. I definitely agree that my focus is on Holistic (as in whole body) and this school is very much in tune with that.
