Oils for healing

Has anyone tried oils for healing? The all natural products that I sell have the "Bulgarian Lavender, Yakima Peppermint, and Australian Tea Tree Oils" and they are, in my eyes AMAZING! In my past, I have always had issues with falling asleep, migraines/sinus/headaches, burns/cuts/acne. I tried EVERYTHING! I was an advid taker of Advil PM to get to sleep at night, prescription drugs for headaches, and tried everything I could find for burns and acne! Now I just put a drop of bulgarian lavender oil under my nose at night and within minutes I am snoring away! Just yesterday I awoke with the WORST sinus headache, and because I am having a procedure done soon, I am not able to take medication like ibeprofren so I put a couple of drops of Yakima Peppermint oil on my temples, forehead, and under my nose, sat back with my eyes closed for about 15 minutes and WHOOLAH....headache gone! Never have I EVER been able to get rid of a headache w/o drugs b4 in my entire life! AND about a week ago, I was taking a pan out of the oven when my thumb touched the top shelf and started to burn and was very painful. I put a drop of Australian Tea Tree oil on it and within seconds, it stopped hurting and it NEVER blistered, scarred, or hurt again!

I am a strong believer in these oils and even more so because they are all natural! Does anyone else use oils for healing?

I just discovered tea tree oil and I am loving it. A drop or two shampoo is helping all of the family with dry scalp from this crazy weather we've had.

I haven't but your experience with the Austrailian Tea Tree oil makes me think that I need to buy some. I am really bad about the accidental burning myself getting stuff out of the oven.

Oh boy, I tell you what I get burned on constantly is our wood stove. No matter how careful I am and even when I have the special gloves on that hubby bought me, I always manage to touch something on the door with some part of my skin! lol

I have noticed, when I do use them, that they can make a big difference. Last November I went to get a massage and the lady who worked on me used some oils that really helped clear my sinuses and relax me. :)

Karla, I've heard good things about tea tree oil helping with lice problems too... just a little in the shampoo and those lice will stay away (they don't like the smell).

Well I love eucalyptus oil for colds, and know a few people who swear by Oregano oil for colds and flu. Oooh, also clove oil for tooth ache is good!

Yep I'm a big fan of essential oils for physical/emotional well being and use around the house.

I use tea tree oil, but for the rest I don't as the smell usually triggers a headache or nausea (I'm also careful with perfumes.)

I have to be very careful with perfumes and smells as well. I get very very bad migraines from strong smells. Thats one reason why I like our scents because none of them are offensive at all. I work in a medical office so we are not allowed to wear smelly scents...unfortunately, some still do and a lot of patients do!
