It may help you to live longer and avoid certain ailments, but it's also been linked to liver damage and depression. Do the benefits outweigh the risks?

I don't drink because of some of the medications I am on, you are not allowed, no "Alcohol", I do like wine, red was my favourite but protecting my Liver is a priority and I am already living with Depression.

The best thing is to do what's right for you.

Never really drank and I don't smoke.

Still I had a heart attack and am dealing with cholesterol and bloo-pressure.

On medication probably for the rest of my Life.

I can live without it...

Made a lot of changes it's just one of many.

I think you're right, everyone needs to do what's right for them (in moderation of course).

I'm not much of a drinker myself (never a smoker) but I do have a glass of reisling on occasion.
