I found this article really interesting... Weird Warning Signs Your Doctor Can See

I bet there are other weird signs of conditions that your doctor is looking for as well.

This was really interesting.

I found myself looking at my hands and my fingers.

Being at the Library, a public place I didn't want to check my ears obviously but I probably will when I get home...lol...;)

ROFL... I did the exact same thing with my hands and then last night I was checking my ears. Too funny.

It's not too busy here now. It was earlier.

Can you imagine me touching my ears looking for those "Creases"?...lol...lmao...;)...

I will probably dream about that tonight.

I was looking at my hands but then again I tend to do that anyway because of the RA.

If you do, you'll have to come back and tell us if it was a good dream or bad. ;)

I am probably going to seriously date myself, but I do remember when the visit to a doctor began with "Stick out your tongue and say 'ah'," and the doctor would use a wooden stick to depress the tongue, but he or she would also observe the condition of the tongue. Apparantly the tongue reveals a great deal, to those who know how to observe and read it.

Whoa! I had never noticed before, but my left ring finger is longer than my right ring finger! All my other fingers are corresponding lengths on each hand. My ring finger is longer than the index finger on my left hand, but on the right hand, the index finger is slightly longer than the ring finger.

I wonder if this means I'll develop osteoarthritis, but in the left knee only? :smileysurprised:

Ok, so after reading your post, I had to go look at mine. Mine are just like yours except opposite... the right ring finger is longer than the left. Interesting.
