Hi there,

I am a 24 yr old female and in good health. I've always been very very tiny. Both height wise and weight wise. I am a few inches under 5ft tall and probably somewhere between 80 and 90lbs. I am thin, but porportionate. I have a ridiculous metabolism, I have always eaten whatever I wanted when I wanted, never thinking twice. I am sure I have gained a few pounds (not enough to notice) in the last year, as I used to smoke, but quit just over a year ago. Smoking really does supress your appetite! I never knew to what extent, until I quit and was constantly hungry lol I never felt full.So my appetite definitly increased from quitting, but to a more natural one. lol Anyways, the last few weeks however I've noticed...and my bf has noticed, I always seem to be hungry and eating. When I am at work, not so much, I don't have a constant supply of food at my desk. But at home I literally eat from when I wake up, and for the entire day! Like Friday for example, I had eggs and toast for breakfast along with coffee. An hour later I had a tea and some sort of snack...make that many snacks.I ate a bit of everything for the rest of the afternoon, going back and forth between yogurt, pita bread, chips etc. Then my bf made a steak dinner, I ate the entire thing then less than an hour or so later I was back to looking formore

Hi Pink, In my experience, hormones often play a big role in appetite changes, among other things. I would recommend bringing it up with your doctor. He or she should be aware of sudden changes such as this. I hope your neck is feeling better, by the way.

The only thing that "rings a bell" for me about appetite increase would be hyperthyroidism.
