For the past 6 months my back has been tight. The pain isinimal but it's more of a tight poking feeling. It's now in my lower back, mid back and shoulders. I feel better when I sleep but when I wake it starts to tighten up again.

I'm under a ton of stress right now. How do I resolve this??

I suffered from this for many months and finally I broke down andI went to a chiropractor after everyone kept telling to me to. I had never tried chiropractic before and thought it a bunch of whooey. The doctor told me to get a stability ball and roll my back over it a few times a day. Also, he said, walk a quarter of a mile backward each day. I thought he was a nutcase but decided to give it a try on the urging of some people I work with and would you believe after about 3 days I had much relief. After about 2 weeks my pain was gone. It seemed too simple to be true but it worked.

No drugs, herbs or anything expensive involved. Oh, and I got my ball at Walmart.

I hope you've found some relief!

I find that exercise helps me a lot in dealing with stress. Just getting out for a walk can do me a world of good. If you can afford it, a massage would be helpful too, I'm sure.
